Check out the latest Madden NFL 10 blog, featuring details on the 2nd title update.

"The first update mostly talked about some of the planned Gameplay fixes but we've also focused on some other important, non-gameplay related fixes as well including Uniforms, Franchise Stat tuning, Replays and Scriptables. The uniform updates include updating the Seattle Seahawks' home uniform to default their home pants to be blue instead of white as well as adding in their new eye popping Neon Green uniforms that they wore in Week 3 against the Bears. We've also added tribute stickers to the Titans' helmets for Steve McNair and the Eagles' helmets for former Defensive Coordinator Jim Johnson.

Some more updates that we have made based on the community feedback center around Replays. We've doubled the amount of time a replay could be recorded so longer plays, such as kick/punt returns or long interception/fumble returns would not have the beginning part of the play cut off. We have also increased the frequency of Auto Instant replays (especially after touchdowns), based on your feedback that told us they weren't appearing enough. Other updates include reducing the number of times the Chain Gang Measurement scene will trigger during the game and extending the time that we are in postplay by 2 seconds to give more time for the presentation of certain shots to finish before being cut off too early. The user will still of course be able to button through these if they want.

Finally, our resident Franchise guru Josh Looman, has been working hard at tuning stats for Franchise mode. He has increased the number of touchdowns HB's score in a season, decreased QB passing yards and touchdown passes per season, and increased sacks for 3-4 OLB's while decreasing sacks for MLB's and DT's. He has also decreased the injury chances for players with high injury ratings."

Has Coach Mode been fixed so that you cannot control any player after the snap (kickers, defenders, etc)--a true coach mode, not "control anyone but the QB mode"??

No, this was never mentioned in the information on ea's website regarding the 2nd patch, I hope that they will include a true coach mode in madden 11.

Has anybody noticed a change in long runs??? Does the RB still start to slow down in the open field.
I mean, really???

Chris Johnson being caught from behind by AL HARRIS!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!??

NEVER IN A MILLION YEARs SO IT SHOULDN'T HAPPEN IN MADDEN

I know that they (EA team) mentioned in their blog about the quarterback holding on to the ball and taking a sack, I hope at least their will be more blindside sacks otherwise I am stoked about the new Patch.

Yeah Rgiles, this has been a problem with EA's [maybe 2K as well] football games since...well, forever.

When you do have franchise games come down to the last few minutes, it's pretty frustrating to see the AI turn idiotic. Hopefully soon, EA will give the late game AI decision making, the attention it needs.

I wonder if this patch is going to address Fatigue in SuperSim.

Whenever I SuperSim my Defense, not matter how long my offense stays on the bench - they come back onto the field fatigued.

It's like Fatigue isn't recharging while SuperSimming.

Hope they got this one!

I think it is a real good chance that it shows up this week i beleive they would not post the 2nd update of the blog unless it has been approved by MS/Sony. But this is just speculation i would really like the patch soon as im waiting to start my chise. But been playing online which has been good as well

I would like to think it would drop this week but it is entirely up to MS/Sony

Maroney burned my entire defense so if they runners are slowing down on long runs, he sure didn't...Even Ed Reed didn't catch him.

Maybe he missed the memo. Or the rules don't apply to Pats players

Just found out from MS that all new content,Patchs and title updates that have been approved go up 2am ET. Lets us hope Patch 2 makes it

I just played the Vikes in GB. What a great game. Favre chucked it deep once and Woodson knocked it loose.

These rosters are like from the early part of the season. Favre is only rated 2 stars. He threw two picks. One was a pick 6, but Collins was so far ahead of everyone else, no one was going to catch him. The other pick Woodson returned 5 yds deep in the end zone to the 18.

AD ran all over the place. He would start in the middle and bounce it out wide. He had over 100 yds in the first qtr. He ended up with over 200 yds rushing and rushed for 8.5 yds per carry. So, yeah, they stayed with him for close to 25 carries.

The last two games in coach mode, in close games, the CPU hasn't given up the run.

Vikes lead by 3 with 3:25 left and I ran no huddles and marched down the field to score with about 36 seconds left. 1st play Favre finds AD over the middle, but AD fumbles the ball away.

I thought all I had to do was kneel 4 times. Wrong. They had all the TO's left and got the ball back with 1 second left. Last play, Favre completed a 12 yd pass, game over.

Nice to see that star players will get their carries at least sometimes.

I think you mean 2 AM PST...DLC, title updates, everything goes up at 5 AM EST.

Waiting for this patch is almost like waiting for the release of the game again. Man, this has been the longest we've ever waited for a patch after finding out that it was in the works.

Maybe Christmas?

Yeah i am trying real hard to be patient but it is tough you know it has been three months. But this time not EA's fault it MS and Sony on delaying it. I just checked about 5 mins ago and nothing.

Usually after submission it takes two weeks fo it to be approved. Maybe there was some bug it it??? Further delaying the patch i hope not.

This is really testing my patience..
