Fix the controller lock glitch during offline multiplayer with manual line changes
Fix the diving poke check that the goalie does
Fix the input delay from shooting with the right joystick

if this patch fixes the super-duper passive defenseman A.I.....I am back on the bandwagon

Hopefully that gets top priority for gameplay fixes.

great news!

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, but I too am glad about a patch. Remember people, patches aren't a full fix of everything, they basically mend things that can be mended.

what's wrong with the D men?

And of course, tweak some of the defensive AI to stay on assignment without turning to face the goalie and skating away from the puck carrier on some occasions
Amen on the choppy animations. I am not sure a patch can address that, but, yeah, that'd be my first gripe.

Please allow manual line changes in Franchise games played online Co-op.

Yeah if they could at the least stop the incessant goalie poke-checking, and maybe allow the goalie to play angles better and stop the D backing up that would go a long way, anything else would be icing on the cake.

Even though at best this is getting ahead of ourselves, their top priorities are probably the game killer problems like the ref bug (which I have never experienced on the PS3) and any online problems.

Oh and if they don't release a patch for PS3 they deserve to be slaughtered by EA even if EA has a less "sim" product.. just sayin'
