what i ment with those other dudes were that they were thowing out opinion after opinion on things that werent really clear or shown in the video. they were so quick to judge errors that they felt were going to be in the new 2k10 game. i think this fear comes from their bad experiences in 2k9 online. My point is that this is a BRAND new game and it will play like a brand new game...i belive this so much due to past history with 2k.

Not that I hate it but from what I saw alot of people despised 2k9 from history's standpoint so what youre saying is a load of crock

I believe he's banned from the 2K forums (yes you heard me). Either that or he's gotten the hint that no one likes him over there.

Favorite moment for me definitely was the announcers breaking mid-sentence to yell as the alley-oop "was happening." It wasn't seconds late, it was spot on, and felt real

no i was banned from 2k, and i understood the band..personally i deserved it. I speak with the mods there, some i know very very well, most of them we all started together on the boards. They told me a few times to ignor, which i did for the most part. Around this time of the mounth things do get a little competitive, hell, its expected. Over at the 2k sports site they made a NEW live topics page, which was never done before. well, long story short...i felt i was right and some people felt they were right. I always remain friendly, no name calling, but lol i joked a bit much...

but hey, im a old OS person myself...i was mostly on the boxing part of this site.

Wow steve! Great video, truly amazing!! Some actions made me jump up from my seat.

Really need to see full gameplay still to be fully sold. Keeping the IGN vid in mind, I saw some awkard stuff..

Looks like 2 NBA games for me this year..

SICKEST ALLEY OOP'S I'VE EVER SEEN IN A VIDEO GAME

Was that really Steve Nash acting like Steve Nash on that fast break setup to J.RICH......

I don't know if it's the animations or what but this game looks like a real damn NBA Basketball game. It looks like this game is right up there with MLB The Show in terms capturing just about every animation you'd see in a real game.

I'm not sure what all the complaints are about it being 2K9 all over again.......hell from that video it could be 2k8 or 2K7 games I never played but that was some damn impressive stuff i saw on the floor.

I will say, that was definitely something...2K finally shows something that's worth watching, and it's damn good. That Kobe travel made me do a double take...like WHAAA? They actually calling that now? Impressive, and the oops seem to be even more improved now.
2K9 was an improvement over the completely broken oops of the earlier years, but these are even more realistic as far as where you can pull them off from...
Still haven't seen much on defense, but it's hard to gauge that without playing yourself...definitely hyped for the demo now

Any news on a demo date? I see new animations but gameplay mechanics look the same. Looking forward to a demo before the 6th of october...so far a good year for basketball gamers in general.

finally an end of game buzzer beater will be worth it!!!

also they got shaq's turn around hook pretty good

the dunks look good, looks like they actually grab the ball and touch the rim. not some animation that doesnt take into account the size of the player

also a side note, the camera used for the raptors is similar to the suns real life camera.

and i know the cav's camera is really low in real live (makes the court look wider)

This game looks unreal, sure it looks similar to 2k9 but there was nothing wrong with that game, so why fix it, adding new animations to an already popular game makes it easier for anyone who has played 2k basketball before to pick it up and start playing, everything looks new and improved, and the tip dunk and oops look amazing (david lee at 2:07 and lebron at 3.46) spacing looks great too, i've been playing the NBA live 10 demo lately and the DC and my excitement in gaining momentum for this big release aswell
