LOL

You didn't even get your money's worth on a discounted, used, reduced price, 30% off clearance, take an additional 15% off any clearance item NBA Live '08.

This looks very good. More control than ever. The passing is amazing not just the pass itself but the mechanics

I don't think it's a stretch at all my man, I believe this will be the leap, and Live 11 will be the 2k8 in my life(fav bball game).

Just a question about controlling offball players - when you use direct pass receiver control to control an offball guy, do you have access to the same moves and cut animations that the AI controlled offball players do?

Possible sir, but if it is in this one short year with the amount of work they had to put in, its nothing short of amazing

Game is looking tight. It still doesn't look lifelike from the broadcast angle like the other game does, but damn if it doesn't look fun to play.

Freestyle passing will be around for years, this is definitely only the beginning there. It's probably the most exciting gameplay refinement of either game this year, should be great.

Gotta be the best looking kobe fadeaway I've seen in a video game.

Gotta be honest, those arena's, the atmosphere is electric. Absolutely night and day difference from last year. It looks like you are actually in the different cities. Not just a bland arena. The lighting, the animated crowds... Amazing. I absolutely can't wait.

Also the Tony parker pass is beauty and chest passes!!!

What needs work:

When you press the shoot button it seems if you just caught the ball the player immediately jumps into form which is unrealistic since he has to catch and feel the ball and plant his feet first.

Other than that, I think its almost official, NBA LIVE 10 spoils 2K's anniversary lmao
Possibly...

Btw not a good idea to say the name 2K in here because...then the trolls start coming.

Lives jumpshots dont always stop to plant their feet into perfect form... this makes for better shots off the dribble and off the run... you'll just have to watch from replay mode to see what im talking about, but they arent always in perfect plant and thats a good thing, but they do gather

btw, cut out that crap man, the thread is just fine without people mentioning 2k and starting a flame fest... you guys need to stop that stuff in here man, its not cool at all

I was JUST replaying that over and over!!! Wooo, that looked RIDICULOUS and the thing is, WE WILL BE ABLE TO BANK SHOTS OF THE GLASS AT WILL!!! Now, whether they go in or not is a whole 'nuva story - LOL! Man, I just wet myself, and I was just saying on the Q/A 2 post about the controls in Live is one of the things I really like about the series. Not to mention, we'll be able to CHOOSE which side of the glass we want to layup on. Crazy, man, crazy, I tell u. They are really pushing things, now.

Ahem, now to speak on the passing - Wooo, those were some downright bananas looking passes! Nice, nice, and mo' nice...
