YeahI don't have a problem with what jao is talking about... that's fine by me. I do worry that we'll see these same animations too often (diving for ball, rolling, tapping it out), but as long as there are some of the normal "poke the ball, grab the ball, run" variety, hopefully the diving ones won't happen too often. But yeah, seeing the exact same animation twice in a short vid is something to be a bit concerned about from a "freshness" perspective.
Still love the animations though. Marcus, are these sequences scripted animations or is there possibility for variation? I.E. if they save the ball from going out of bounds, does it automatically get passed to the nearest player on their team, or is there some component of randomness or user control to it? Are the diving animations triggered by the user's input or contextual based on where the ball is, etc.?

WOW!! That was impressive.
The lighting in every arena was not only distinguishable but is beautiful. The arenas are very well lit.
It looks like you can really differentiate how each player moves.
Carlos Boozer slowly made his way up the court while Derek Fisher ran up the court with more agility.
The thing that caught my attention the most was the bench. Not only are they vivid and colorful but their authenticity is well represented as well. You can see Lamar Odom anticipate a layup in the fastbreak when Derek Fisher runs across the court. You can also see the Cleveland Bench closely watch the ball roll out of bounds until one of the players saves it.
It also seems that Hustle plays truly run well during actual gameplay. The gameplay camera is also remarkable
I am impressed.

the players still look hunched over when running...needs to fix. kidd is the worst at the beginning
It still has some of those awkward movements that were in last year but this is the Live I have been waiting for. I think this year Live will be able to compete with 2K on all levels now from gameplay to presentation. This should be a really great year for Bball fans no matter which game they buy.
Nice video... only little thing that I noticed is that Shaq runs too fast
Nice video but it seems like to many of the other players are standing around. Its not enough movement on offense.
I'm in absolute AWWW on how far this game has come in such little time. Kinda make you think on what could have been had it came much sooner than now.
The lighting is 10 times better than in 09 and the overall atmosphere is great. They seem to have gotten the lighting on the blazers home court spot on. I have to say though that the major difference that sticks out to me in live 10 so far is the body models. I think they might be just a step behind 2k but they have come along a major way in live 10.
The concern I have is I hope the hustle plays and that "diving to the floor spin move, get back up dive again" animation doesnt happen too often and I hope the animations in that department are nicely varied.
Overall I am extremely impressed with the look and movement of the game thus far

He actually tried blocking it from the back and glided to the front of boozer lol... That does happen in real life might I add.
^^
lol but not this way..this sequence is my gripe I guess..I don't want my guys blocking air - where is the collision detection in this sequence

That looks fantastic. You corrected a TON of the movement issues, visually.
