Did you guys not see Dwights dunk before the end of the trailer? The backboard and the rim bends down.

Yes...but it has to bend down everytime someone dunk right? Esp Dwight. When he dunks, he pulls the whole thing down like shaq.

I only see one play when a player isn't looking to the ball (the layup by LeBron with Jameer defending him)

In another layup by LeBron, Rashard Lewis turns his body in the air because of the contact, but he turns his head to the basket quickly.

He does the same move in another contested layup by Mo Williams. Right after Mo releases the ball, Rashard looks to the basket.

And guys, if you got problems with a player not looking at the ball all the time, you gotta hate both 2009 basketball games...

It actually reminds me of 2k's trailer for 2k8 (was it 2k8 when they first introduced diving for lose balls?)

guys, watch the video closely. The rim bends

Let's just say it's not a procedural awareness issue on the Lebron dunk...

Maybe he was watching his man going through a screen on the baseline and Lebron just beat his man and he tried to contest? Possible?

LOL!

Not sure, but everything I'm seeing in this trailer has been in 2K's game for years...

And that DID NOT look like Dwight Howard

yes. at the end.

I wish Dwight's alley-oop dunk bent more because of his size and momentum and all..

What is Varajeo doing at 0:24? (LeBron dunk) He's just walking like nothing is going on. LOL

It's a good thing then? That means Live has finally caught up with 2k gameplay-wise?

hahahaha, dude it looks like Dwight... pause the vid and look..

# 78 BiggD @ 07/23/09 07:02 PM
The Bench interaction and player rituals were the "final frontier" in basketball games imo... 2k started it with players getting up and walking to the bench

BUT

warm-ups and players going crazy takes the cake for me

Did the rim bend down on that one? or is the "shake" effect on the video?

Hey man, I like what I saw so far...no major complains if you asked me.. and whats up with the rim sound? It's sounds very plastic? I hope it make sense...

# 80 P21J @ 07/23/09 07:08 PM
I'm still a little unsure why Vince fell after he dunked, was it momentum(or a foul) or was it part of the overall dunk animation?
