Madden NFL 10 GameStop Pre-Order Demo Codes Available July 15th (Destructoid)

	"GameStop has just announced that pre-ordering Madden NFL 10 for the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 will net its customers an exclusive demo of the title. The demo will features four five-minute quarters, with the Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers as the playable teams. Codes for the pre-order demo will hit stores by July 15, and the demo is slated to go live by the end of July."

I got this e-mail today:

"Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for pre-ordering Madden NFL 10 from GameStop / EB Games. The GameStop exclusive demo with four 5-minute quarters, featuring a Super Bowl rematch between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals, is scheduled to go live on Thursday, July 23 by 9pm EST.

Please do not try to download the demo before 9:00 pm on Thursday July 23. Doing so will result in an error message and could possibly deactivate your demo code. Anytime after 9:00 pm on Thursday July 23 you may follow the instructions below to download your Madden NFL 10 Demo.

1. Turn on your new NCAA Football 10 video game.
2. Select TeamBuilder from the main menu.
3. When prompted, input the redeem code below.
4. Create a new customized team!"

...

So we have to buy NCAA 10 in order to get the Madden 10 demo?

That cant be right, those instructions are how you unlock team slots in NCAA. They must have copied over the wrong instuctions or something.

Here's the correct info if you have the 360 the ps3 is just as easy just log in to the store and redeem the code

I got the same email, I am on vacation so you will know the results before me but I figure one of 3 things will happen

1. They sent the wrong code and we now have free team builder spots
2. They copied the wrong email (I pre-ordered online did you?) and the code will work
3. The code won't work at all.

Not really anyone to contact I guess short of emailing GS.

I'm from the UK and as such not able to get a demo code as our Gamestops are not offering the same demo deal as yours.

Any good souled fellow OS'ers who feel like giving up their demo code to me?

I can only offer good Karma in return, oh and a place to stay if you ever visit the UK!

I just got 3 more codes from Gamestop in my e-mail and a e-mail saying they sent the wrong instructions to me earlier.

For Xbox 360 customers, we just have to punch in the code in the "Redeem Code" section of Marketplace on XBL.

The NCAA10 instructions was a mistake on thier part.

So all is well I guess.

I've got a legitimate extra PS3 code via email (went to GS and they gave me one as well, thus the extra) that I'd like to exchange for a legitimate 360 code (if someone's got an extra or the wrong one) for anybody that's interested. If you'd like to exchange pm me. If nobody is interested, I'll give it to someone who needs it for PS3 on the 23rd.

There was just a commercial during WWE Raw stating the demo is going to be 5 minute quarters. I thought it was confirmed it was actually just 1 minute quarters?

if you are on PS3, you can use an existing PSN account or create one. that's all you need to download it. the only caveat is that you can't do it until 9 pm on the 23rd.
