I'm fine with it....I can deal with that, if they could include it in a DLC or patch it would be awesome. Otherwise, I'm very excited for how it looks.

at least sliders are back this year, so that shouldn't be a problem

Definitely the first step in the right direction for franchise.

Hmmm there's alot of hate coming from your general direction.

But i think the franchise looks really good this year. Cant wait to try it out!

Just wanted to add to earlier thought about why I'd like to have it as stand-alone DLC. 2k5 had basically a Eagles vs. Redskins to a single highlight with very limited commentary. I'd love to see where they could have multiple plays throughout a game that basically told the story of how the game was won or lost. This would require something a lot deeper tech-wise and a lot of commentary to really flesh out the package. I'd give a gig of HDD space to have something a little deeper than single plays and one-liners...

XTRA POINT MY ***, THEY PRETTY MUCH TOOK "LEAGUE NEWS" AND PUT IT IN THERE. NONE OF IT IS INNOVATIVE OR NEW.
Wow, and you guys wonder why Ian doesn't come around here? You are so awesome....That's not what I want to say, but you're not worth me getting an infraction.

I think Ian has something up his sleeve and will come up with something for us. either before release or as a DLC. Might not be the best solution but enough to hold us until madden 11

Huh?That's like 75%, which definitely isn't unheard of for a single-game performance, especially one in which he threw 4 TD's and was named player of the week.

Well like Ian said in his twitter that the highlight parts are in the game but turned off for now until they fix the bugs through dlc patch are for madden 11. I think I can deal without highlights until next year if can't be done by patch. Great job Ian.

I would too, unfortunately MS and Sony never would agree to that.

From Ian's twitter:
Re: no highlights in the extra point..tough call but we wanted something (recaps) over nothing. They will be added in DLC, patch, or 11

# 376 SHO @ 06/02/09 10:16 PM

But I'm glad they are planning to put it in later.

# 377 g2thecore @ 06/02/09 10:17 PM
I just really impressed by this...I can't put it into words....All these folks talking negatively about this are just haters....simply put.

# 378 marinofan @ 06/02/09 10:18 PM
Controling every team has been a part of every madden game. I hope after all they have improved they don't blow it by taking out the option to control every team. I am with you if this is the case I will not buy it.

# 379 HealyMonster @ 06/02/09 10:18 PM
well some of you guys are nuts if you dont think its a step forward. I mean, no its not like genre redefining or something but it is pretty impressive. The only other thing they could add is highlights but I cant say this is garbage cause highlights arent in. It still looks good.
