That's the difference between you and a flamer, a few minor bugs/irritations doesn't mean Sony is trying to rip you off. What most flamers likely don't realize, is that by the time Sony *could* fix the remaining few bugs in the game, we'd be looking at an August/Sept patch and even the flamers would then have to admit they wouldn't wait that long.

Word on the street is yes.

Well the highlight is fixed BUT the walkup does not work and neither does the HR celebration. I had to click them off, go out and save the change then go back in to click them back on, go back out to save again. CPU and myself has also been getting hits after hits and hitting bombs after bombs as if the game setting is defaulting to rookie, 6 innings so far and 20 hits per side!!!! The setting is supposed to load with the franchise and I don't think it is doing that anymore....

Anyone has the same problems and how do I roll back to 1.06?

Profile and User Settings are the first things I load when I boot up because I don't use autosave. I've never had problems with walkups (only use them in RttS and sometimes it doesn't play but that's periodic) or homer celebrations so don't know what to tell you there.

As for the latter, I believe (in XMB) you go to Game Data Utility and delete the corresponding file. Reboot after disconnecting the system from the network as you will be forced to re-download the patch otherwise. I've never tried this as I've had hardly any problems so someone would have to confirm that.

I do the same thing. No problems here.

Nice job.

Thanks to all involved.

Oh dear. I've never had any problems pre-patch or to the 1.6 update. Now downloaded 1.7 and my RTTS crashes around 20th November straight back to the XMB. Pi**ed off big time ...

I would assume this has to do with the changes in the 2nd patch, not the 3rd.

Remember, a pre-patch RTTS or 'chise has the chance of doing this because of the schedule difference in your save and being used in the game now.

That's why everyone was upset; have to restart all over I believe. Not 100% sure on that last part, though.

Yeah, the patch fixed the replay issue, but it caused a bit of a conundrum pertaining to my franchise.
I am playing as the Reds and had just lost game two of my series at AZ. Cueto lost to Doug Davis. I have autosave on, so the franchise saved. I installed the patch after that game and was surprised to see that the game was treating that game as though it never happened on the schedule or standings, but all my players were super fatigued as though they had not been allowed to rest overnight. This could lead ro some issues down the road.

Wasn't this an autosave issue PRE patch though? I could have sworn people mentioning this very early in the game's lifespan.

Sucks either way, of course, but just saying it may not be a patch issue. I never autosave (I like to micro manage) so I can't speak on it from that perspective...never had any issues though.

One thing's for sure, while this IS a great game, it seems to have many nagging (and it's fair share of bigger) issues this year. It's a shame so many people are running into problems.

I recommend that everyone just turn autosave off and make sure they load their correct profile, settings and sliders the first time they boot up the game.
Those all stay in memory until you reboot the game, but remember rosters do not.

This (turning autosave off) will also help avoid overwriting a franchise/season/RTTS save you may need.

I am gathering that Autosave is the problem or is a problem now after the 1.07 patch. I always had autosave on as I didn't want to have to load up my profile/ slider/ roster.... everytime. Seems like most guys have it off and have no problems. Does anyone have it on and still having no problems or no one uses that?

I have it on and have no issues....I did have a crashing issue a few days ago (before 1.07 was out), but I was able to 'navigate around it' and everything seems fine.

In addition to letting the machine autosave after games, I am in the habit of advancing to the start of the next game I'm going to play and manually saving before I shut down. Not sure if that helps or not, but it's a habit I have developed over the years.

Went to record replays during a Season Mode game and then went back in to do another but now the replay has finished screen is stuck so I can't watch any replay during the game.

Now that the game is over and I want to go into replays I get the same deal with the replay has finished recording screen stuck.

I started a new franchise with Knight's (lineup) Roster fix.

I'm now in my season to date, Feb. 21. Question:

1. Is there going to be a schedule problem down the road that will make my franchise crash?

2. Do you get the in game replays (previous homeruns, in particular) even though you press X during that players batter walkup, or will it fast forward through it like it has been doing?

thanks
Cant help you Jim but what i can say is that im so glad i havent downloaded any of these patches and will continue to live happily without them

Hope someone can answer your queries mate.

I wish I could say that. I downloaded this last one and I can't get by certain dates on my schedule without getting kicked out to the main PS3 menu. I deleted the new patch and started downloading the game back on to my HD. The hell with 1.06 and 1.07.

I didn't download the 1.06 patch but then finally got around and got the minipatch. I never had any problems before but after playing about a month's worth of a RTTS that is now in 2013 or 2014 I'm in September with the Padres as a callup and after pitching 1 or 2 games, it will just kick back out to the xmb whenever I trying to even look at the schedule to sim to the next appearance.

Seems like the same problem as me. Had no issues at all until downloading 1.7 patch. I always thought of myself lucky after hearing of all the problems people had pre and post 1.6 patch. I played EVERY game in RTTS for five seasons aswell. What a waste of time and effort. Got UFC today to cheer myself up by knocking six blocks outta someone.
