Sorry for being so incoherent I can't really get out what I'm trying to say in a smooth manner.
I don't know but that is an EXCELLENT idea.

I wish we could turn off that big red ball-landing circle. I'm sure some people use these markers, but they do nothing for me at all.

Plus, I don't like the increase in size of it in 10... just wish I could turn it off, it's kind of an eyesore to me. I thought the one we had from previous years was just fine.

thats ok i can wait on that one, also can wait on variable refs, i.e. some refs more prone to call offsides, pass interference etc (kinda like strike zones in The Show)

Maybe it's not a big issue for EA but for true football fans, I guarantee if EA fixes this problem it will make the Madden playing experience a lot more exciting. To this day i have to say " NFL 2K " hands down will always top Madden as far as animations go. I really hope EA can do something about this.
We haven't gotten much info on Presentation yet. Wait until E3. What we do know is that there IS a highlight show in place called Extra Point or something to that effect.

Hang in there, this information hasn't been released, yet.

They might make an announcement at E3, which is June 2-4th

I sure hope that was an alpha version of the game. the part where the gang tackle took place, near the end zone, and there was a frame rate skip/speed up. that's not good.

Thanks for the clarity. When I saw that...it scarred me a little. I can just see that being a big problem.

ugh, crap!
ea still hasn't fixed the whole defense diving at nothing. and the part where ben threw the ball to the TE was crap. he was breaking like 4 guys. and then did a pop glitch. other words he moved back then forward. this is just bull**** that ea doesn't fix the imortant ****. and the side line looks the same! they said they were going to have it more realistic....not seeing and realism!
fix that ****.

So you've played Madden 10?

Also, I'm pretty sure you meant Backbreaker

And who wants to see a gang tackles every time you run the ball that itself will make the game boring.

Um...gang tackles happen almost every time a team runs the ball in real life so why should it not be like that in the game?

2-3 man gang tackles happen a bit often but any more than that doesn't happen quite often.

This is the next gen game that I thought Madden was gonna look like when I played Playstation 2. Hopefully the gameplay comes through this year....

That sounds like gametrailers to me...lol well at least it wasnt sportsgamers oh wait....

Damn every play he scrolled to was an 09 play. For a moment I thought I might catch a glimpse of a new one.

Madden is looking good this year. The only thing that i've noticed with the pro-tak vids is that the RB still carry the ball like a "loaf of bread" when being ganged up on. Or when Ronnie Brown breaks the tackle in the video, he has the ball in one hand loosely. Have you guys noticed this too? I hope ball security is important in this year game. Cause on Sundays if a RB is being tackled by 4 guys, somebody's going for the ball! Hopefully covering up the ball while being stood up is possible. Is there a ball security rating aside from the fumble rating?

I doubt it probably just a fumble rating.

# 139 XtremeDunkz @ 05/23/09 05:31 AM
you're both wrong the rating is called "carrying"

Thats right! its' carrying. they need a "carrying" security rating too!LOL

IDK, maybe they need better ball security animations to make the ball carrier look more realistic when being hit.

Side note: I wonder if Ian and crew brought back the WR dive like last gen. Not all receivers like taking hits exp. The greastest show on turf Rams were good for getting down before taking big hits.
