Check out the new MLB 09 The Show screenshots. Every one of these screenshots were taken with the screen cap feature by Jim, Knight, Nemesis, and Pared while they were here in the studio last week. But the extra effort that the dev team makes is because they seriously care about the fan base. I know, I've seen it in action. It wasn't B.S. make it look like we give a crap 'til they're gone. They love their work...they love to see us get all giddy about it.
I don't know if I'm supposed to talk about this...so it's gonna be a bit vague...and if it's not allowed I will edit it out....but they showed us a letter from a gamer....the guy had some physical problems. It was a pretty moving letter and you could see how it got to the team...so much so they gave us copies. It meant a lot to them and they were proud and moved that it was their work that prompted this young man to write a letter to them.
If you think they do this just to move product....you're just being cynical.
Thanks for trying to throw a wet blanket on it for everyone else though

Nem, seems a majority of my shots got lost as well, including the one in Toronto.

Still, amazing pictures.

Pared...I don't think those are all of them they are going to post.
It was late last night(NEARLY 3:00!) and they were still at it....so I think they posted what they could off Jim's machine.

i just dont understand why anyone would question there hard work for us. how many other devs do u see putting out this kind of info for a game thats not out yet. and they also seriously look at what the gamers want to try and be fixed and actually fix them.i for one definately appreciate what all of u have done and am very impressed. i have never seen this much dialogue between gamers and devs for a game. thx again all of u at scea. and of course u guys who went to the event lol.

Minor detail, but thought they said the fans were more spread out this year LOL, dude wearing the Chipper Jones Basketball jersey and lady with hands on her head within 5 feet of each other

this game looks and sounds ridiculous. i dont have a ps3 yet but am awaiting my tax money and with it will be getting this game and a ps3. great pics thx guys

Yeah I noticed that as well, mike. Looks a little out of place.

Otherwise, these shots are amazing. The dynamic lighting just took this game's visuals to a completely new level. Can't wait to see what Kauffman looks like this year!
