I wonder if this is maybe more based on lighting this year? It's a very bright day it would seem. Not saying that's the case, just wondering aloud.

What I like about this picture is the liveliness of it. You see fans moving in the backround, the bullpen in action, the ump poised to make a call, etc (not to mention the obvious jumping play in the foreground). It's a good "live action" type shot

Again, some really great captures guys!

wish it was but if you go into 08 the wall colors are the same... they should be much darker green... even with the lighting they would never or should never look that "old and worn down" or pale in color... oh well no biggie...

I guess the game is really progressing well when we see posts about the "shades" of colors being right or wrong. :-)

I come from the Earl Weaver baseball days (and Atari before that)...I think the screens look fantastic. Anything not exactly right is something I can suspend disbelief over. Minor things which aren't gameplay related won't detract from my experience.

I really want to give kudos to the devs for fixing the flags. Matching the animation to the strength and direction of the wind is a nice addition. Can't wait for vids and the demo.

Pictures look great! I am trying to play catch up from all the threads last night. From the sound of some of the posts did my pictures get lost?

If they are doing another blog today (they've been doing them every Tuesday for a few weeks) then it would be at http://blog.us.playstation.com/.

They typically seem to be later in the day (mid afternoon or so)

No prob

I know they had more planned, but Russell never put out the "upcoming blog on ____(fill in blank)" heads up, so I'm not 100%sure about this week.

Keep an eye out though. We've got some good watch dogs around here...lol. Someone will catch it and link it if it goes up

Yeah good pic post as proof, the shade is darker, but I still don't know if I want to applaude for your attention to detail, or ask why the heck you're so worried about 'shades' of color. Look at the screenshot...doesn't that more or less look EXACTLY like the stadium? At this point of fidelity, were really getting diminished returns...how much more enjoyment do you get from the game if the shade finally matches closer to reality?

I was meaning more about shadows of the stadium

Where are the flashes from the cameras??? Looks amazing though.....the lighting really brings the game to a whole new level

Thanks for tha great pics. And i like how we Braves fans got some LOVE in those pics. By the way, the pic with McCann looked great, they had his 5 o'clock shadow on point.
