NCAA Basketball 09 Xbox 360 Community Roster Project

Hi folks,

I saw that BehindShadows is planning on releasing a roster set as soon as he can finish up. Problem with that is he's going to be editing players attributes, looks, etc, as he goes along.

I've always been of the mindset that I prefer to use the rosters the way they came with the game. When you start editing attributes, inevitably, you're going to have a bias towards one team or another and the file won't come out the way it should.

We'll pass the roster file around using the EA Locker. It's important to note that under no circumstances should anything other than a player's name, his height/weight, race, or jersey number be edited. LEAVE THE ATTRIBUTES ALONE!

So...with that said, we need volunteers. Below is a list of all the conferences, along with whether or not they've been done, and by whom they've been edited. Rather than using their OS names, I'm using their gamertags instead so it'll be easier to get the file from, in the EA Locker.

Alright, thanks for clearing that up. I haven't purchased the game yet... but I think I'm going to. I need my basketball fix and the demo impressed me enough that I wanna give it a shot.

man, sorry i didn't/couldn't contribute to the rosters, but i definitely say thank you to all who worked on the file. it adds so much to the game to have the real rosters and you guys have done a terriffic job!!!

there will be on big file at the end, you add whoever does the last confrence as a freind and get it out of his locker. i just added u die hard. blue and gold should be finishing up here in the next few minutes, then ill do the southern, then you will do the colonial. then depending on if matt is on when your done or not, either will do the MVC and the horizon or someone else will bang those two out just to get this done we will see

I'm so sleepy man, I was up til 5am messing with that OVC conference....the final 5 teams were all jacked up!

But keep me posted on the final file. So I can begin what I messaged you about.

that's what i'm worried about with the colonial....i just know it's going to be an abortion of a roster for those teams! no way all the rosters of the little guys are right....

UPDATE:

MAAC and Southland are done

Working on finishing up the Northeast conference. As soon as I wipe the blood dripping from my eyes, I will get back to it.........

Not trying to slow the process down, just making sure their as good as I can make them.

Time isn't an essence just as long as they are as accurate as possible...lol..

Great Job and so far I can see your moving quickly...I know I did 5 conferences.....so I know it's time consuming. Especially conferences with 10 teams each...

yea ill have the final roster for sure. there will be many people on here with the final roster obviously once people start downloading it from eachother and what not. but i will post the filename of the roster that is in my locker when i put it in my locker and an yone who wants it can go in and get it from my locker.

Yeah don't start jacking us up with friends request just yet.

Once the final file is done....Terp can confirm it. We'll get it from him.

And then you guys can start sending any of us Friends Request. Once you download it, remove yourself from out Friendslist so we can make room for others to get them as well....

alright guys i just ran into a problem with me going next with the southern conference. i have to go pick up my grilfreind, she was initially going to drive herself here for the weekend but her car broke down, so now i have the awesome oppurtunity of driving and getting her. i will be back by 7 for sure, but then i got to watch my wolverine play Duke in the finals of the coaches vs cancer. so i guess what i am saying is i will be available around 9 or 10 tonight to do the southern. i am sorry fellas. there are others on here though that can take control and run this board and make sure everything runs smoothly, because essentially thats very important, just making sure everyone knows whats going on so theres veyr little confusion. ill be back on here around 10 guys, again im sorry, but now maybe ill be doing the last conference tonight, and then essentailly ill have the responsibility of having the final roster. have fun guys!

if you've got a current file in your locker i can get it from you now and go ahead and do the colonial while you're gone.

You can still use a Con Resigner to assign profiles over. This would eliminate the worry about EA Locker based profiles. Granted, this isn't an easy way but it can be done with Con Resigner. Just try to post the final roster version in transfer kit format. Thanks!

no worries terps - can anyone else take over the southern conference while hes gone?

id do it, but im really new to the xbox and editing players andstuff and even the whole EA Locker process so im afraid i might mess things up/slow things down for people.

and just wanted to say thanks again to everybody whos donig this. u guys got a great thing goin on here. i heard about OS by searching for rosters on google and this made me register for OS as well!
