NBA Live 365 Status Update

Hello Everyone,

In our communication to all of you before the launch of NBA LIVE 09, we said that NBA LIVE 365 would be “Made Fresh Daily.” This will certainly be the case, but I wanted to update everyone on our current status, because there are lots of questions being asked around the community concerning NBA LIVE 365 and when it will officially “turn on.” Last night the NBA season officially kicked off. Six teams played, and the NBA LIVE 365 information was received and is ready to be pushed in-game for all of you to enjoy, but in order to accurately reflect what’s happening in the real NBA in NBA LIVE 09, we need the data from EVERY NBA team once they finish their first game.

The last NBA teams will play their first game on Thursday (10/30). To accurately reflect what happened for every team’s first game in NBA LIVE 09, we’re going to turn on NBA LIVE 365 on Friday morning (10/31) for everyone that input a code on the insert inside the NBA LIVE 09 packaging. Once every team plays their first game, you will see your daily changes as promised.

We’re terribly sorry for the inconvenience, but we really wanted to update the community on what our current status is. We thank you for your overwhelming excitement and continued interest for this feature, and we promise that you’ll be pleased with what’s reflected in-game based on the real NBA season. It’ll be a long, enjoyable journey for all of us to enjoy!

one of the things i had to figure out was that in order for the rewind games to appear, you need to set the exact home and away teams from the actual game. for example, you can't just pick the houston rockets and have all of the available rewind games show up. if you want to see the rockets @ suns rewind from last week, you need to set the rockets as the away team and the suns as the home team in order for the rewind game to appear (assuming it's uploaded). if you want the thunder @ the rockets, set the thunder as the away team and the rockets as the home and then scroll through the available games using rb/lb

I'm not sure what you're referring to. For example, I put up Detroit @ Sacramento. I hit R2 (I'm on PS3) and I see a game from last year, I hit R2 again and I see the game they played last week.

I hit "X" to continue, the game loads (in like 20 seconds) and I begin playing.

Yeah, for the Pistons at Suns it doesn't come up, but the Pistons at Lakers does...maybe after the next update it'll show up, I dunno. They played Sunday, so I'd figure it'd be in there, oh well.

No, it sucks. That is just the way the screen works. Those jersey numbers are hard-coded. In the patch we took away Brand's from the Clips and Baron's from the Warriors. We'll make it dynamic next year.

Wow...didn't know that. It's gonna suck to have to look at his jersey everytime I fire up a game.

What do you mean by 'dynamic' next year? You mean it will vary by player...like switch up?

I'm assuming it'll change according to whoever is the highest overall on the team.

At least, that might be the best way to do it.

I was playing the Utah/San Antonio replay from the other night and it's only 10 guys on the roster. I'm not trying to be picky buy how are the rosters determined? Because Ahearn did score in the game and he's left off. It's more of a subs thing. I let the CPU sub player because it's almost "NOOOOOO It's Not Possible!!" to do it unless you have to pause the game. Anyway the CPU makes some wacky subs for me. It put Oberto at center, Thomas at PF, Duncan at SF, Tolliver at SG, and Udoka at point. The rest of the player weren't even tired.

i still cant play rewind games. it loads then i have 2 or 3 options per team. they are all dated from last march and april.

i bought the game brand new and have the code put in. i get updates daily, but i just cant play rewind games from this season. pissing me off lol..

help..

Jamal Crawford, Tim Thomas and Al Harrington all played games last night but they're still on their teams' IR.

An ETA on the next 365 update?

In the past it seems that the DNA is a day behind - they should get the information about the Knicks & Clippers games today from Synergy, and plug it for tomorrow's update.
