Still fiddling around with the new capture card and grabbed this clip from NCAA Football 09. Again, it features AI vs. AI, on default Heisman. The quality should be better this time and we have the same clip on OS and Vimeo, play w/ the HD version if you can, just tell us what you think.

Great post! Thx for the upload.

ncaa is lookin pretty sweet. still some of those same tackle animations though. Ai seems fairly good, some offputting jukes at times. They call a pretty good game.

But one thing I have a major gripe about. Field Goal length and accuracy. 55yards? No problem. Its automatic. This needs to be fixed

Besides that, I can't wait. Watching it isn't as good as playing it.

I thought EA said that crowd noise is dependent on how many fans the team brings to the game. Shouldn't the crowd have been just as loud for both teams, then? Looks like that isn't fixed.

Not to mention the fact that its not shown on a TV viewing camera angle.

What the ehck was Colt McCoy thinking with that first INT? ********.

SOmething i noticed while watching this. I know alot of people might have re-started the game after that, but dont we want some randomness? Sure a few Turnover suck, but if you play Texas against OU 10 times, they prolly split it 6-4 OU or something. Gotta love the randomness, we dont want scripted games (at least i dont)

Looks damn sweet! Just a little thing that bothered me, was you could only see it raining on the close ups not during game play. Silly!

I agree 100%. Even if you are a Seminoles fan.

That's because you know what's up.

Thanks a ton Steve. The game looks simply amazing this year, graphically. The players moving before the snap, reacting after the whistle...

Even with the minor issues, I have a good feeling I'm going to enjoy this title immensely!

I can't believe how small the "SOONERS" is on the front of OU's jerseys. They've had it pretty much the right size on next gen, and now all of a sudden it's in 8 point font. Yes, I know only Oklahoma fans will care, but still.

So the crowd isn't cheering for both?

Boo!

It does look like it should be a bit bigger.

I tell you if suction blocking was fixed this game would play very well, atleast to 2k's style. I stll see way too much of this. Some cosmetic errors to. Texas wears white shoes & OU's DE Engilsh #33 should be white not black but that can be fixed. I wonder can the camera angles be adjusted to TV style presentation? Graphics look really good...

Nope. It definitely doesn't have a neutral field feel to it. Pretty disappointed in that regard. Besides that, though, it looks fantastic.

I said the same thing about Auston English being a black guy when I saw some of the early screen shots. Thats how you ensure no "likeness" I guess. Can't wait to get this game in 5 days!!!

Steve, why are you being so good to me?

# 18 BrianFifaFan @ 07/09/08 12:52 PM
First, thanks Steve! Now to the vid. I liked the animations save a few awkward juke animations by the CPU. Playcalling was weird. Going for it on 4th and 2 in the first quarter on you side of the field? Cheerleaders walking through the signboards, really bad. Felt bad for Colt, I hurt after the sacks he took. But they looked good. Overall the game looks better than 08, just hoping stuff like the cheerleaders in the wrong spot can be polished befre ship. Or is this a retail copy? Not a game killer, not even close. Here's my only beef. They can get the endzones right for that neutral site, why not bowl games. Must have been pre-rendered as part of stadium. Whole package, acceptable.

Couple things here, as a UT fan and someone who goes to the school.

Haven't seen the vid yet but any interception thrown by McCoy no matter how stupid shouldn't be a surprise at this point, and in all honesty the split wouldn't even be 6:4, maybe 7:3 at best

is there no mud on the field this year?
