Why I as a consumer will NOT BUY Ncaa 09 oops ncaa 10
Posted on June 18, 2009 at 10:30 PM.
this will be a ongoing series of why I as a consumer...
apparently lack luster games allow this to live on and rise from the ashes like a phoenix. So i caught wind of the ncaa 10 demo coming out today. I get off of work and I managed to get home and download this "new game" apparently it struck me as deja vu because haha for the life of me it feels like I have played this game before maybe in another year. perhaps. july 08? maybe?

um...yeah so I downloaded this game to find out what people were talking about. Take this as no offense. This is by far the worse football game I have ever downloaded and tried. This is plainly ncaa 09 with a few upgrades here and there. Not even as far as innovative as madden 10 will be and involved. Now that this has been covered let me explain the reason why,

For starters ever since the rosters were messed up and other things that are just a snowball to roll down the hill as a avalanche.

-No refs on the field
- the same unrealistic running animations(momentum?)
-the same commentary from ncaa's past
-players running through walls?
- Lack of innovation in presentation?

you know what after this I may never get again a EA person to talk to me on this site. I don't care. If you get offended by this thread and your with EA and the group who made ncaa 10 you know what? guilt by association. This is pathetic and the fact that you guys want someone to shill out $60 for this drek you should be ashamed of yourselves.

that is all.

-The smart consumer

cause the game is boring and they look robotic

lol your no one to explain anything to. and also I have gone by the smart consumer for quite some time take nothing from it. and add nothing to it. and if want reasons to why madden is mentioned the way i am mentioning it ? maybe you should check the thread once in a while. again I dont care if you question or come to rebuttle or anything. its just that you want to have a justifiable reason to why you are buying ncaa 10 and any little truth about the game that comes out sways you to argue and waste your time. lol have at it sir i wont waste your time. you will just be wasting your own.

lol you never read my other blogs or anything infact never read my threads on here to figure out why. Which is not a shock because you come with an agenda to try and prove me wrong. Which if you want to thats fine go right ahead there are tons of people on here as it is who decided on the same issue and it does not change the fact that the game still sucks and is the same.

So im not gonna stand on here and argue over the internet to some rando about why madden 10 is good check my blogs you will see why. if you dont then thats your issue and you can go kick rocks.

Good day sir

It really is getting stale as far as sports games in general. Its always the new features on the back of the back, and game always to seem to have more exploits that absolutly kill the fun factor of the game. This is a problen for ALL sports games. They seem to always want to attract the "****** gamer", but the fundamentals of a good, realistic playing sports game are broken, example (nba live.) Hopefully they start to get the point, but we'll see.

NCAA is getting stale!

I got a feeling all this community outrage will result in sales being down. EA is not a stupid company; case in point Madden sales being down year after year. EA pumps more money into Madden 10 and now Madden 10 looks like a Sports GOTY candidate.

Hopefully the same happens to NCAA 11. Getting rid of Haumiller would be a nice start.

Wow, this made the main page? Has this self-proclaimed "smart" consumer ever heard of an editor or taken an English class? Punctuation issues, words spelled incorrectly, inconsistent spacing/format issues. Man, that was hard to read.

That being said, NCAA 2010 will not be bought by me this year. I will hold out for Madden and only Madden.

I say if you're that iffy on it, rent it first and THEN form an opinion, someone stated it earlier that you can't really get a feel for this game with 2 minute quarters, and it is just a demo. I saw a lot of good things in the demo personally. Perfect, hell no. Good, yes. I shall make the purchase.

Oh and kbm, this is an internet site, not English 11. Besides, you got a few grammatical errors in your post as well (as I do).

# 26 kbmnm247 @ Jun 22
Lyte, where are my errors? I'd like to know.

Can you even tell me what this is supposed to mean...

For starters ever since the rosters were messed up and other things that are just a snowball to roll down the hill as a avalanche.

or this...
this will be a ongoing series of why I as a consumer...
apparently lack luster games allow this to live on and rise from the ashes like a phoenix

Allow what to live on?

I mean I can stand some errors as long as it does not hinder me from comprehending the article but some of these run on sentences go no where. I agree with the main points the article is trying to make, I think (it all depends if I read it correctly. But why don't we wait until the final version is out before we condemn NCAA 2010? I mean, it is only the demo, right?

# 27 C the Lyte @ Jun 22
kbm,

you missed one of your ) in your last statement!!! And I see what you're saying. There are some rather "wtf does this mean" statements in dude's blog.

Warrior,

Are you talking to me?

# 28 kbmnm247 @ Jun 22
warrior, what are you talking about?

I agree with you, why condemn the game based on a demo version? Isn't that what you said in your post?

I swear this is getting overrun by 10 year olds.

What did I learn by reading this blog? Can't beleive OS put this up as a featured blog. I used to come to this site and find out new features about 2010, now it's about wheather or not some mouth-breather is going to buy the game, and why. Productive guys, thanks.

To Kbmnm247, "The smart consumer" is not "self proclaiming". Infact, it is simply just a signature i leave on some things and it does not mean anything anyway. The fact that your using this as your point to an argument which means nothing is rather sad. If you like the game then fine thats on you. I just don't like to buy the same game that is obviously...the same game. Have at it.

Second of all, THIS did not make the main page. Infact many others were on the main page because its a new blog. Steve from OS did not hand select my blog but if you wish to believe that? then ok.

inconsistent spacing? man that was hard to read?...um ok. Take a dig i'll own that. I would rather own that then take time out to be so pretentious to pick out grammar to make my ego feel so good..online.

finally, I speak for everyone here when I say that I and the rest here do not care if you don't purchase it or not. this is not a shock that you wrote this considering the fact that you believe your "that" important to make it all about you when clearly I made this blog to show what I felt and thought about this game. But since you feel your opinion to be more important than what it's worth. To be honest? its not. So congrats that your buying madden 10..No one cares. Now good day.
