GM Macintosh at a live press conference.
"We would like to announce a trade that happened today. We are not happy at all with our current situation in the standings, and we thought it was time to make a move. We are trading RJ Umberger to the Winnipeg Jets in exchange for Blake Wheeler. Blake Wheeler is 4 years younger than Umberger, and Blake still has room to grow. This is not going to be the last trade, expect bigger things out of Columbus."
Analysis:
Blake Wheeler is a 6 foot 5 PWF. Is he the replacement for Rick Nash? People might think that this would mean Nash will be traded this year to make way for 1st line minutes for Wheeler.

We are thankful that this hasent happened more this year, but we do have a injurie. Dorsett has gone down with a sprained ankle after recieving a bone crushing hit from brent seabrook. We have called up Dane Byers to replace him. With the way this season has gone this year. This could be more of a tryout for Byers as it is a short term replacement.

"We have a trade to announce. We have traded Kristian Huselius to the Edmonton Oilers in return for a 2012 1st round pick, and Eric Belanger. First off we would like to thank Kristian for his services here with the Blue Jackets. Next, we would like to welcome Eric to Columbus. We feel as though this trade was helpful to both teams, as Edmonton was in search of a solid 2nd line LW. This trade also benefited us because we now have 2 first rounders that we can use to trade up in the draft if we want."

Just did a couple minor deals today.
1.
4 unsigned rookies for 5th and 7th round in the upcoming draft.
2.
1 unsigned goalie for a 7th round (2013) draft
I just did those deals to "clean house" a bit. None of those rookies were going to get any higher then a 75 so I thought that I might as well try and get some draft picks with those guys.
About midway through November, and I'm having a blast playing all the games. I don't really like to sim because I like to see my team play. Anyways thanks for following.
BTW
Thinking of trading Nash or Carter. I'm looking for a good defenseman because we are really weak on the back end. I also noticed that Bryan Campbell is on the trade block. Don't really know what to do at this point. Let me know what you guys think I should do.

We are not getting enough scoring right now from everybody. One person that has really surprised me so far is Colton Gillies. He is a 4th line grinder but yet he has still managed to put the puck in the net 3 times, which is tied for frst on our team. Hopefully we do better next month. Don't forget that we still are in a rebuild phase, so I guess we can't expect too much.
