Solid game but needs a patch for some minor things. Robo QB is the biggest killer so far.

A good football game but not great. See the presentation from ESPN NFL 2K5. The atmosphere in this game is just bland. The crowd is non existent. Add cutscenes, user imported soundtracks, over haul the franchise mode. Drop the ring gimmick and get rid of all the other gimmicky features. Use the disk for much more important things.

Many last gen features have yet to be added after 4 years of development.

Buttons have been disabled to compensate for faulty AI gameplay. ie. Catch button is now unresponsive and the stiff arm button is inconstant.

If the ball is in my runners left hand and I want to stiff arm left, the single stiff arm button should constantly move the ball from the left arm to the right and the stiff arm animation should play out. More times than not when I push the button the stiff arm is in the wrong direction and the ball never changes hands. Stiff arm should have never been changed. LB = stiff arm left and RB= stiff arm right.

It seem every year game play control is changed. This year analog movement on offense have been removed. Custom button configuration is missing. Why are features implemented and removed every year?

20 years in, and still a shameful amount of bugs and omissions. Traded it in after two weeks.

If EA released a complete product from year to year then they would not have to deploy as much resources into correcting issues from the current product (taking away development time for future products).

I started having a lot of fun with this, but then defenders started snatching the ball out of the air on passes 10 yards before the destination of the pass. Maybe it's an issue with how the QB throws passes, but it's unrealistic & it's irritating.

It's better than 08 but needs work.

With legit online leagues it would have been higher.....
