Looking good. Honestly, I'm glad it's not coming out till March of next year.

I wonder how bad of a state (or they couldn’t figure out) the Yukes code of the game was to make them not only take a year off, but push to March of 2022?*

I hope they nail it. It’ll probably be the last wrestling game I buy so I want it to go out with a bang.*

Rather wait 5ish months than it be like 2k20. The roster has has tremendous turnover and they prob need to get a lot of peeps scanned and taken out as well.

Interesting it’s release will be right around Wrestlemania.

I like the release window...will have little competition during the spring months...plus Wrestlemania is the sports biggest event.

It makes sense for a lot of reasons, but damn it if I don't want to wait another 6 months.

It sucks that the wait is another six months, but I also bought 2k20 very late in the cycle (the physical Smackdown Edition was on sale for like $40) and did not hate it.

The trailer definitely looks great, and I am sure visually, it is going to live up to the hype.

That said, it is GM Mode or bust for me from here on out (and no, Universe Mode is not an equal to GM Mode.)

I'm also gonna guess part of the delay has been the roster bloodletting over the last few months. Past years, they could live with a couple of talent gone from when the roster was finalized, but now there's gotta be at least two dozen folks who were probably locked and loaded in the roster who are not only gone, but some of whom assuredly will be in AEW by then (including Daniel Bryan, Ruby Riott/Soho and according to reports today, Bray Wyatt when his no-compete is up)
