THQ disolved and the servers?

So what will happen to the servers for WWE13 since THQ is now obsolete? Will this be the end for custom creations sharing?

Also, I'm just assuming we will get no more DLC due to this either.

Not sure. I could see 2k/Take Two moving the WWe 13 servers over to theirs to try and stress test for the next game. At least that is what I would do lol

I did read somewhere that there may be a NXT DLC pack after Mania, but I doubt it. Given the state of THQ's finances, they probably rented the servers for a few months. And if that's the case, then I'd gather that that when the lease is up, than Take 2 should take over. That would be the right thing to do anyways, and hey, maybe they'll fix the one count glitch too.

Not going to happen unless they hire on all of the people that were working on it. Working on someone else's code is like decoding a message in many cases. The time it would take figuring out what they did would not be worth the effort and would be better put forth towards a new game.

They won't have to hire the entire team, just the lead developer as a consultant. And they wouldn't really have to do that, if they buy the rights to the current engine. It wouldn't be a bad idea to lease that for a year so they can produce WWE '14, and just put their own spin on it while they build their own engine from scratch.

So are the servers officially down? I tried logging in but couldnt tell if they are down or if they are running like normal.
