And thanks for the kind words. I'll remember them fondly when you guys hate the game and come back here next week blaming me for making you buy it LOL
As long as gameplay is an improvement and we can further tweak it thru edits and sliders then I'll be quite satisfied. I know alot of people will get thier shorts in a knot about attire or why a belt doesn't look 100% accurate and other cosmetic stuff like that but I could care less if the gameplay and AI challenge is there and there are no big bugs in universe.

But once I made the Undisputed Championship the major title for both Raw and Smackdown, the brand split ended and people from both brands began appearing in the rankings for the Undisputed title.

I checked and the rosters hadn't changed, so this is either a bug or an intended consequence to sharing one title between brands. I'm not sure which.
I don't really watch much wrestling these days so I'm not sure how this brand stuff works in every detail but isn't it logical for the undisputed title for both brands have wrestlers from both brands to appear in the rankings? If it only had rankings from one brand then it's not really a major title for both or am I missing something here?

Yeah that's what I wanted to know, if the Undisputed and Women's titles could be on both Raw and Smackdown in their respective slots. thanks!!

Yeah, that seems about right. If the Undisputed Title is the major title for both Raw and Smackdown then naturally the ratings would be a mix of both rosters. Same for other divisions as well. if the Women's Title is in the Diva slot for both shows then the rankings would be combined there too. If you decided to seperate the titles again (say, WCW Championship for Raw/Nitro and World Heavyweight for Smackdown, and Women's for Raw/Nitro and Diva's for Smackdown) the ratings would split again.

That makes sense, and it's possible that's how it was programmed to be. But what it does essentially is override the rosters that are assigned to each brand.

For instance, if you have your Universe set up for only Raw guys to appear on Raw, then have a shared title, wrestlers from Smackdown will start being booked on Raw, too. I'm not saying it's good or bad, but it bears mention either way.

oh and I know you answered this before but I don't feel like scrolling through the pages....could I dump the titles on a created wrestler and put him on a dead brand (example: AWA) and have that be the solution to ridding my universe of those extra titles? or does it need to be someone like Arn Anderson and have him get shipped off to AWA. cuz if I can use created wrestlers I'll make a guy named Vacant, then a team of Vacant1 and Vacant 2, and a woman named VacantDiva, give them the titles I have no use for and put them in AWA.

Yeah, the ratings aren't the problem as much as it's the apparent merging of the two rosters. Smackdown guys are wrestling on Raw and Raw guys wrestling on Smackdown. Some might view that as a problem.

In a related note, I've straight simmed two years worth of Universe and have no problems with any of the title reigns I've seen. If anything, guys seem to hang on to the belts too long. I haven't seen any jobbers rise through the ranks to claim a belt, though several have earned title shots, including Slater, McGillicuty, Otunga and Goldust. Goldust actually had a brief run as IC champ, but it lasted only one month.

Major title holders have included Cena, Punk, HBK, Undertaker, Sheamus, Orton, Christian, Mark Henry and Triple H -- I may be forgetting one or two, but these have been the most dominant guys in my Universe, as they should be.
Man, that's really good news, IMO.

I'm so torn on what to do about this game. I like the idea of Universe Mode and also, just setting up my own Federation and doing CPU-CPU matches (I write down shows in notebooks. I'll make up promos as well. I did this with Legends of Wrestemania and it was a blast).

Speaking of LOW, that was the last wrestling game I truly enjoyed. That game, to me, was pretty balanced and I liked the QTE for finishers and other chain moves.

Are you still enjoying the matches against the CPU? Also, how responsive are the sliders?
