The Rock was the best entertainer, period. The guy was awesome on the mic and knew how to raise the roof. Plus, he wasn't too shabby in ring to boot.

Hogan would probably be the obvious choice, but his wrestling ability was less than mediocre. The guy only knew how to perform like three moves only.

Honestly, don't blame Hogan for that.

He could and did a whole lot more in his over seas work, but the US fans did not require him to do much more than stick to the formula that always worked.

Couldn't say it better myself. Saw a few of his Japanese matches along time ago and I couldn't believe that Hogan was doing all that stuff in ring.

I think the question depends on when you grew up, when you watched wresting, what your definition of "Electrifying".

Growing up in the 80's no one was bigger than Hogan. Even 20 years later when he was way past his prime when a real american played the place went nuts. Plus his turn in WCW was a memorable moment. Remember watching that Halloween Havoc with a large group of friends and no-one saw that coming. This was back before Spoilers were everywhere and U didn't know what was going to happen. Hate how now someone reads something online and acts like he knows everything about wrestling

Thats just my take, not here to try to sway someone one way or another or defend my pic with useless facts and all that. IMO no one could get the pop Hogan did and he could keep crowd into a match or on the Mic. When he was a heel people hated him, threw stuff in ring, or attempted to attack him in ring. Thats what a heel is suppost to do, make U to hate him.

BTW I always wondered what that fan really though he could do at Halloween Havoc when Hogan turned. I mean U have Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan in the ring. Those are 3 large men who are in shape. anytime Scott Hall is the smallest guy in a group you are in trouble(A in shape Scott Hall, not the 300+ man he is now)

Without a doubt he thought that ...."Hey, I bet if I just jump in there with no training and face off with these guys, the crowd will go nuts and WCW will HAVE to use me."...or something to that effect.

Ahh the WCW, those were the good old days......i rarely watch wrestling anymore but i remember i wouldn't miss a match in the WCW........i should try and get all the old WCW pay-per view events....that would bring back some memories.

Hogan turned at Bash at the Beach, not Havoc. I remember cause it was the first ppv i ever bought. I kept thinking shawn micheals or bret hart was going to show up(i later on read that they tried to get bret hart, but he wouldnt jump, so hogan was thrown in there). I loved that he had turned heel, and i believed the "outsiders" were from the WWF for awhile.
