I made up a Playlist on Youtube for y'all who may be on the fence about it, and how it runs on the PC, here is a link

I am with you on this. Picked this game on a whim and kind of suspect if I would like the controls. But man this game is so fun. Sports gaming has been so dull lately but this game is way more than my expectation. Yes it may challenge NCAA Football 25.

Re: TopSpin 2K25 Impressions Thread

Just picked this up as well, after reading some solid reviews and watching gameplay.

This game has the career mode depth I wish 2K's PGA game would have. With coaches, injuries, energy, stamina, travel, etc., it's much more interesting and immersive. Plus, there are the special events and training within each month that give you more to do than just play one tournament after another.

The gameplay is super fluid and feels like a callback to the tennis games of yesteryear...like the Virtua Tennis games and OG TopSpin titles. Everything feels so crisp and tight. It's just so fun and matches get tense.

I also love the small details, like sweat/dirt progression thru a match...players get super saturated with sweat as play goes on, and the chalk lines on clay courts get erased as matches progress.

This game is such a breath of fresh air, and seems it will be easy to pick up and play, but tough to master. Can't wait to put more time into this one!

Man, I hope 2K doesn’t abandon this and it sells decent and gets some updates. Offline tournament and playing with friends is desperately needed, but the on-court action is so fun. Can’t put this down right now, the AI is a perfect balance of tough but fair.

Agreed. The more money we put into this, *hopefully* the more money and resources Hanger 13 puts into it. If the graphics and animations take a step up in the next version, 2K’s got a winner.

Re: TopSpin 2K25 Impressions Thread

I didn't realize how much I missed video game tennis until I started playing this. This game is SO damn fun.
I haven't really gone hard on a tennis game since I was a kid playing Evert/Lendl back on the NES, but I think I am going to get a lot if mileage out of this one.

There is something so satisfying when your players slides across the clay.
