NBA 2K17 Community Simulation Slider Set

Ok, here we go. As some of you are aware of, I am huge simballer and am very particular about finding that balance between fun gameplay BUT simulation style stats (boxscore). It has been a long road of testing and discussions with other forums members.

I have tested heavily, and I am happy to announce these sliders are now ready for your MyLeague/GM



Here are the Simulation Sliders:

VERSION 2.2, June 15, 2017


Game Difficulty: HOF
Quarter Length: 12 Minutes
Fatigue: On
Injuries: On
Game Speed: 57
Free Throw Difficulty: 50
Shooting Type: Real Player/User Timing
Free Throw Shooting Type: Real Player %(I don't recommend User Timing)
Action Replays: Occasionally
After Basket Camera Cuts: Often
Ball Handler Text: None
Shot Meter: Off (or Feedback Only)
Shot Feedback: Off
Foul Out: 6
AI Free Throw Camera Shake: Off
Rhythm Indicator: Off
Pick and Roll Overlay: Off

Not as of yet, I will be posting to 2K Share in a few hours. Still doing some testing. Im on XB1 btw.

I have never played a real player and I would ask what is the difference ......... does not seem too easy to play with real percentages? ....... just my opinion

The biggest factor is taking good shots. No matter what option you choose, good shots go in. What a good shot is - is debatable. Players often equate open shots as good shots and they aren't always good shots even though they can be.

But of the two options, user timing requires more skill and knowledge of your team. With user timing you have to not only take a good shot for that player, you also have to shoot right with him. So to me the difference between the two options is that one requires knowing shot releases and one does not.

I have been messing around with the sliders a little and have liked it so far. Still early in testing so criticism is welcome. Its the only way for these sliders to get better. We need testing and more testing!! Please check out the OP and try out my Beta 1.02. Will be ready in 15 minutes

Having tested more, I think the faster the game overall, the better the stats. It may not feel as simulation like but the stats dont lie. Trying to find that balance. I think I might lower the game difficulty to superstar to see if it changes anything stats wise and animation wise. Going to be a lot of hard work to test all the variables but I am sure I will get the right balance.
