Great review Kevin!

Someone needs to forward this to EA. Kevin knows his soccer. Not these individuals working on the game. The AI is poor and needs to be improved upon. I tried the trial and will be holding off on a purchase.

All true facts. Gameplay is worse than ever. UT as gross ever. BUT they did bring back full practice arena matches, so...

positive they rushed to get this out with the numerous career mode text and various bugs. Quite sad to not have a day 1 patch to address these issues.

thought maybe EA would add some never-seen-before features or modes to drum up some interest in their first non-FIFA branded title.....

Yeah. Bugs, bugs, bugs. Very annoying! The inability to sack a coach to bring in a newbie in MCM effectively makes the new system null and void.

I’m hopeful (not convinced) it’ll be patched but the article is right the game needs recoding to within an inch of its life.

I just can't enjoy the mindless gameplay of EA's soccer titles. Honestly, for all the hate it gets, eFootball with its PES roots is a better representation of the game. Problem is there isn't much to do as far as single player modes.

On the PC, look for the Football Life repackaged releases of the PES games complete with Master Mode.
