Could I continue to keep playing and having fun? Yes, but I'm satisfied where I'm at with the game. But, mainly I don't want any burnout heading into CFB 26. If I play until new release, the anticipation wouldn't necessarily be there. I want to miss the game and anticipate new features. Yeah, MLB the Show can hold me over for a while.

As I said, It's hard for me to keep playing a game once new features of new game are revealed. Especially if it is something you really want. For example, if(when) Formation Subs is announced, it'll be hard to keep having to set them in game every time. Or having revamped Transfer Portal and having to deal with the lackluster version of it now

Re: How are giving CFB25 it's send off ?

After making this thread I got busy and didn't end up replying to all the comments like I had hoped. My plans have changed as in my main dynasty 2033 I won the title for the first time. Then it hit me this is the absolute perfect time to retire it. I won the title with basically all 2 and 3* players so this leaves what i can do with 4 and 5* in my offense for CF26. I didn't land the super commits last signing class so I don't have that many unfinished careers of players I'm attached to. So if I'm able to stop now I don't really have any unfinished business

We are in the same boat and I'm the type of person no matter how much I love something I want to miss it a little. Since I want to take a break to allow me to play some other games after idk 1,000 hours in this game. Even if i sign 4 or 5* skill player for the first time I doubt I'm able to finish his career off. Once the real news starts coming in for CFB26 then yea It changes my mindset as well so it becomes more of a weekend fling

I knew they be a good amount of people like this and I can definitely see why you would. I was planning on playing my main dynasty longer. I think I'm going to switch to my backup dynasty now and retire my main one. However I know the urge will come one weekend and I binge play a season one weekend.

I'm still chasing that elusive National Championship.

I landed my first 5 star QB with my SDSU dynasty. I redshirted him. He'll be paired with the two 5 star WRs I got the previous class. As a Soph and RS FR, those 2 WRs are my top 2 WRs. To go along with a couple 3 star RS FR RBs I like. I got some players on defense I redshirted. So, in theory, I have something I could look forward too. But, I'm not going to be able to finish those careers. I might be able to finish my current season. But, I'm good where I'm at now. In my primary dynasty, I won a championship, so I'm good stopping

I could keep playing, but I need to miss the game. I need to build the anticipation. I have Gamefly and I'm very picky about buying games, so I don't have to buy the next game. But, this game shows that I can feel comfortable buying the new game and I could stop playing for a while and pick it back up

I hope they make a way to Port our online dynasties over to the new game. I’m in the same boat. We have a five or six man Dynasty and are only three seasons deep for the same reasons. We’ve put a lot of hard work into rebuilding our teams and really love to keep it going on the next game.

I wouldn't expect that as they will prob change some stuff that would make it hard to do.

Re: How are giving CFB25 it's send off ?

For me - I'm doing one last season but going back to be 12yo me playing Bill Walsh CFB. No recruiting. Cheesing the hell out of the game. No slider adjustments. No custom playbooks. Running Kansas State to the first title in their schools history in any sport with an avg. score of 50-7. WhY? Cause I want too and i can. LOL. I basically have zero time to game once the school year is up running my kids to all their practices etc. so this is my swan song for 2025.

I won my first Natty the other day, as well as the University of North Carolina offered me their Head Coaching job. I accepted and will be taking over to keep my current Dynasty going. I think I'm going to take some time away from it before I start with UNC, and I think I'm gonna take the Dynasty save that I set up at the very beginning that was an all Group of Five organization, patch it with the current build of the game and tinker with editing. I want to see what the game plays like with some attribute edits. I'll do that for a little while and then I'll get back to my current Dynasty, and that'll take me up til 26.

Re: How are giving CFB25 it's send off ?

I reluctantly stopped playing this game because of the lack of features, editing options and it feeling really shallow in terms of no immersion factor in dynasty mode.

I said I wasn't going go compare it to the older versions of the game but unfortunately that became too hard for me not to do.

They definitely need to add some life back into Dynasty mode. I truly miss those old SI magazine covers to
