How are giving CFB25 it's send off ?

I stole the title from a previous thread before this game came out. We are three months away before CFB26 comes out so it may be a bit to early for this thread. The main question how will you be wrapping up CFB25 these final 3 months ?

We are a point in the Calander where spring practices are about over so outside of mostly smaller transfers no more football news for a few months. I would say a lot of us have played this game forever so maybe you are slowing down a bit from playing it. I know I've just this week went from playing it every night to a few times a week. One thing I wanted to do this year was wrap up my keys player's career. So I don't want to leave with any unfinished business and that's tricky because they are always key signees I want to play with.

The other thing that comes into this is news for CFB26 should start coming out in a month or so. When we hear about the changes coming It can be hard to go back to the old game once the full anticipation kicks in.

This was such a legendary game and a amazing foundation for what's ahead it deserves it's send out the right way.

Re: How are giving CFB25 it's send off ?

For me, I do want to give it a full 2 months without playing this game prior to the new one coming out. I want to go into the next game fresh. They're likely going to start releasing info next month. Typically once a game starts dropping info a new game, it's hard for me to go back to the old one.

I feel I probably won't be able to give this game a proper send off. I have 2 other games I about to start playing that'll take me into the next month and a half plus. But in a way, I'm good if I don't. In my main dynasty, I redeemed myself from blowing a 21 or 28 point lead in the Natty to winning the Natty. I got blown out in the Playoffs in my other dynasty. It make take another season or two to get the point where I feel I could truly compete. So, I'm good where I'm at and if I have to officially be done with this game prior to other game

I will be playing 25 right up to the release of 26. I can't put this game down. This is the first game in many years that I actually hopped on the sticks to play and have continued to play from Day 1. So, my sendoff will be shelving it the day 26 is available for early access. I'm still chasing that elusive National Championship.

Re: How are giving CFB25 it's send off ?

Been playing modded Madden 25 instead of CFB25 and will probably do that up to the release of CFB26. If sim stats remain as inaccurate in CFB26 and the recruiting demographics remain unchanged, then I may just stick with modded Madden 25 until Madden 26 comes out.

Now, if CFB26 makes its way to PC, then I will definitely get it, but now that we've had some time to get out of the honeymoon phase, CFB25 is a tad disappointing in too many areas for me to be too excited for 26 just yet. I had fun with it and thought the gameplay on the field was great, but the game is littered with issues off the field and that adds up.

Still playing a 5 man online dynasty. We only completed 3 seasons and haven't had any major downtime.. but that's what 1-2 advances per week gets you haha.

I agree with you on several points, but certainly the bolded statement. I would say I'm more than just a tad disappointed. The game play and visuals are light years ahead of 14, but excluding recruiting everything else doesn't quite measure up to previous versions. In my opinion, they have a lot of work to do in order to make this a game I will want to rush out to buy. I may end up playing 25 into next season and may skip 26.

exactly, I feel the same way. I've played with almost every team now lol fix up the roster equipment and then use that team but I haven't put the game down since the release. I got Indiana Jones so I am going to check that out but CFB 25 is still my favorite game.

I'm with you. I think I've done enough to properly move on to the next iteration. I'm just playing The Show now for my sports gaming. Looking forward to CFB 26, but I'm footballed out at the moment.
