This.

I'm hoping they can find a balance but I would rather have a game where someone can use movement and distance to win a fight than having to rely on pressure and combos as the sole way to win.

It might be hard to accomplish, but head movement and distance management should feel very fluid when working together. Good boxers and counter strikers use head movement for much more than dodging punches. When you watch a masvidal or dominick cruz at their best you see a lot of head movement to not only close distance but to get out as well. Id love to be able to do a little bobing and weaving in throw a quick punch or 2 create an angle and get out. Fighting in UFC 2 is very left and right. You cant really create angles and any head movement means you are stuck in place. If i cam figure out how to attach a GIF i can show specific examples unless GIF king Haz can do it for me lol

And for the love of God, please dont let people just lean back and avoid every strike lol. I don't even think an example is necessary but Silva vs Sonnen should be more than enough. In ufc2 the lean back is just crazy.

This. Another thing they need to fix too is back dashing magically shortening incoming punches and back dashing and leaning back working even when your back is against the cage. If your back is against the cage how are you even able to back dash, let alone avoid my strike with it? Same with leaning back.

There, now a dev said it so no more NDA concerns.
This is the most important thing for UFC3, awesome news!

Could you answer, are you going to keep Combo Multiplier and Boosted strike (after dash) for UFC3?
It is important to know for possible new ideas about combos mechanics for UFC3
