I wouldnt assume that from Martial's statement.

What Martial is talking about is Lyoto's blitz where Machida charges in with constant lefts and rights to the head. His blitz sometimes comes when he is finishing the fight but it also is a technique he uses when someone isnt hurt.

Be clear, I'm not saying that this they arent working on finish the fight. I'm just saying that Martial's statement doesnt prove they are.

I dont think you have to worry about that. Most of the GCers are only active here and they arent really that active in the first place. Also, the game is still being developed so any info we have could change by the time the game is released.

I really hope there is some sort of blitz mechanic. High risk, high reward. If I never see somebody get rocked and then just walk backward for 10 seconds because they can do that just as fast as I can walk forward it'll be too soon.

So head movement > distance control > block > parry? It shouldnt be a parry fest or having people walk forward holding block and parrying then throwing a free headkick or overhand. Parry shouldnt stun the attacker, only one side should be left open, should still be able to move. Leg checks need to return the damage. Cuts should have an affect, which means lowering how often they happen. And the 1-2 spam is dumb lol, combo multiplier should be lowered or removed, and only affect the initial area. Punching my head isnt going to make the head shot land harder
