Biggest problem with the shooting stick for me is creating shots off the dribble (stepbacks, hop jumpers, spin jumpers etc.) So hopefully that's cleaned up..

And it sounds like signature sizeups are gone altogether? That's interesting. From the small clip of Warriors vs Knicks it looked like Durant was able to break down his man pretty naturally-looking without it being pre-canned. Really need a gameplay video explaining this though.

Re: NBA 2K17 stick skills will be tested, No more being stuck in Animations? [DimeMag

No I understand... I think you're on the same page as Sam... we all know the rotations had/have issues, but lets hope that article was right about it being fixed... then again he didn't even say that he just said the man rotated over...

That was Sam's problem with the article, the guy didn't explain what really happened so we don't know if it's fixed or not. Too vague.

Haven't 2k been advertising full player control, or is it simply more player control, every single year.

I'm not going to celebrate full player control until I have full player control down in the paint.

I want to be able to fight around a box out. Even if I have position for a rebound with a defender hovering over my back, just for kicks to see if it works, I want to be able to fully disengage from the other player and allow the other guy to secure the rebound. As of right now, there is no way for me to disengage my player from the rebound process once the defender and offensive player are paired in an animation down in the paint.

23 you have a blue name now..... sup with that?!?

Ummm.....on topic, I am very interested in the talk about the dribbling/branch out signature thing. Where it's about "feel" and "instinct" etc.

SOOOOO DYING for a Mike Wang blog man...... Maybe Friday?

After the team up event I'm thinking a blog would time out perfectly to sort of clarify what the team up participants are feeding back to the general public.

I'm definitely excited to hear what Mike has to say about the controls. I'm sure that's his baby so nobody will truly be able to break it down simply like him.

He'll probably answer a ton of questions too with a lot of nuggets. That's why we love listening to Mike talk

I really hope they haven't binned the signature size ups after one year. They are what gave players individuality on the court.

Take that away and Durant's handles will look no different from Tim Hardaway - We'll be back to square one again where we only had about 7 dribble variations and absolutely anyone could do them.

I think signature dribbles etc. will SURELY be still there if not further enhanced. But I think its more a case of how they're triggered and how we can branch out of them being new etc.

But of course, this is merely speculation at this late date.....
