2k15 was slightly less cringe worthy since some players could talk now, although you had instances like DeMarcus Cousins mumbling through an entire script that was trash btw.
That game gave us a very pleasant surprise: Channing Frye can talk!

No, seriously, I hope he enters either acting or a broadcasting career after he retires. He's really good at this!

2k14 was AWFUL with Jackson Ellis and mute players. 2k15 was slightly less cringe worthy since some players could talk now, although you had instances like DeMarcus Cousins mumbling through an entire script that was trash btw. 2k16's "Livin Da Dream" had a awful title, awful pacing, cringe worthy moments like parents and a twin sister that don't match the player and Vic's awful slang (did give us Anya Engel-Adams fine self though), but it was a achievement for a story in a sports videogame. The closest any sports game has come to that was The Life series from some years back, and I have high hopes for FIFA 17's "The Journey"(both had/have predetermined characters and don't let you create one). All they have to do is learn from their mistakes and take on a full realistic approach instead of trying to impress little kids with how "down" and "cool" they are.
That 2K14 My Player voice though.....

Or will it look like a basketball simulation? Can't wait to test this out during the Prelude!

Sam Pham broke down one of the defensive sequences in the game from last year, where the guy wasn't very clear about the defense, and I tend to agree with Sam.

Those are 2 completely different help positions though. Butler is stunting one pass away right there which is usually a no no against any good shooter and Barnes is coming from the weakside. In that case of a breakdown, one of the players up top had to hustle their *** to get to that corner or GS had to rotate from the other side. Barnes can't really recover there.

I think his point was it was still bad defense being played by Barnes.

It's something that I notice on pick and rolls... it's something Live did nicely I'll give them that, show then go back to your man.. doesn't happen here so much.

never been a sticks shooter but it seems this would be the best time to take off the training wheels and test my skills. if i find out i'm garbage i wont complain or ask for a patch, i'll keep at it til i get it right. learn and earn...

Yeah not really trying to defend 2K defense. But that play failed more because of lack of rotations and/or lack of strategy more than because of Barnes not recovering. He basically had to commit there or not help at all. That's all I was getting at.
