We'll see.
Definitely...read your line about last years demo. I did the same thing. I think I may have given it 4 minutes before deleting it. EA takes notes.....from the EA discussion boards. It will never be a SIM experience. It's all about Ultimate Team and online play...period. Any other discussion is to ensure not to alienate or ignore a small portion of their customer base. It seems that PES has finally started to realize what made them a viable option...gameplay. I kind of thought they went away from that for a long time. It's like they were seeing what was drawing people to FIFA and they tried to compete in that space, weren't able to do it, and finally went back to their roots and what they have always done best.

Looking forward to this one coming out. What level are you playing on?

FIFA is miles ahead on that aspect.

But the gameplay really makes up for it.
I thought Peter Drury did an amazing job. He gets excited in such a life-like way - was an amazing switch up imo! Jim Beglin needs to hit the bricks though. Im not a huge fan IRL either, but in the game, he's just brutal. Sometimes it sounds like hes using words and has no idea what they mean. Just boring colour commentator all around. Peter Drury is where its at!

Oh, good question, I was playing on Top Player.

It is not all games or developers but Konomi and PES are consistantly worse on Microsofts platform which is shame if PES turned out good this year.

I love the tactics and the depth of them. Never disagreeing with their existence, if anything I want more levels (18yd box level, def 3rd level, midfield level, opp def 3rd, opp 18yd box, 6yd box?) for mentality, however that's not realistic for this PES 2017 demo, or full version.

I just want the act of the CPU running away from loose balls to go away. I want them to be hungry for them, and the remedy, simply, is either A) introducing a transition to green (medium level) or B) Modifying the intensity/adherence of each level, thus being reflective in the animations and overall attitude.

Option A, in theory, sounds ridiculously easy - which makes it that more frustrating. Imagine having just 1 more step to reach Heaven, but it isn't built yet, so you're stuck. That's what's going to happen to PES 17 if this isn't fixed, and yes - that analogy is whack .
I just re-watched it and tbh, I got it confused with you talking about how you turn the directional arrow for FKs/Corners/PKs.

I agree 100% about the need for a transition arrow. I'm thinking a gradient color arrow scale. It could even reflect in a new rating (workrate) and tie into the Track Back Player Skill.

Played against Barcelona as Arsenal a few times and was barely able to get a shot off playing 10min halves at Camp Nou. Felt legit though. i feel like if I had tactics available to counter the game might have played out differently.

Just curious what others are using.
I'm mostly tinkering trying to find the set so I can hit the ground running when the game starts but I've settled on

Top Player
No Pass Assistance (I think passing on Default 1 is VERY assisted)
Game Speed -1 with the odd Normal Speed game so the jump online vs buddies isn't huge

I've had a good mix of games with varying results. Dominated Atletico with Arsenal putting 3 past them. So far their favorite team to use (Brahvado is gonna kill me for this lol) is Arsenal. In terms of different type of players in PES they have everything.

Aerial/Back to goal CF - Giroud

Pace on the outside with Bellerin and Nacho running all day

Ramsey sitting deep with Coq - just shooting from distance with Ramsey and playing diagonals

Sanchez just having incredible change of direction and acceleration

Ozil just pulling the strings. Just in real life that right foot is only for standing but that left foot is crazy. Outside of the boot passes, little deft touches, he's just represented very well in PES.

Not a huge fan of using the radar :/
I usually just play on Dynamic Wide or Field Side but the last match I played on Player and it was a lot of fun. It's funny how a different camera angle can make like your playing a different game. I don't know if I could use it as my main camera but for a change of pace it's good. It's close up so you can every player apart visually. The players are bigger on screen so dribbling 1v1 is easier. You can actually get your shoulders in front of guys and dribble directly in front of them like Hazard. It also forces you to use the radar and trust your teammates. You'll have a split second to look at the radar before a cross BUT the camera flips A LOT so it could get disorienting quickly.

Without hearing the commentary on the retail I'd def agree. I'm not a huge Drury fan. I like his voice but can do without all the screaming but then again I love Jon Champion but admit his long pauses aren't for video games.

Lol. That was the beginning of the end of my gaming. A last hurrah. However, babies are getting old enough so I can show up every now and then on here.

Anyway, I played a couple of Arsenal v. Atletico today and I'm leaning towards only buying PES this year. The game is wonderful in my book. For all of its flaws I enjoyed 2016 and this is worth the purchase just because fouls see nice.

This will probably be a Day 1 purchase for me.
