same in myteam. 2K started out saying thats how it worked last year...but then the game needed to be patched. somehow, they never fixed guys coming out of halftime rejuvenated either. if your guy went into halftime with an 80 stamina, he came back with an 80 stamina......bc there are no such things as 15 min halftime breaks with rest, recovery, and quick rehydration.

all of this is lip service. i'll believe it when i see it(except the lighting...im sure that will actually look really good).

Re: NBA 2K17 Features Revamped Rebounding, Fatigue, & Steal Systems (IGN)

Anyone who's anyone knows that a key fundamental to rebounding is boxing out. The GREAT rebounders were great because they treated this fundamental as a priority. Where as some of the taller players may have been a bit more complacent and just tracked the ball. Barkley is a GREAT example of a premier rebounder who lacked height but used this fundamental straight from the manual.

It would be great if there were a lot more depth to this, fighting for position, things of that nature. It would enable good rebounders to be distinguished from poor ones - I am thinking it should also tie into their awareness (putting a body on someone/allowing players to leak in for offensive boards). It would/should also lead to more physical play which would mean more off ball fouls (which I feel 2K is lacking).

Then further to this, it would mean that the box out "battle" could also be affected by the fatigue system.

IRL, please try to jump high 3 times in a row to crash the board then tell me if you don't lose vertical

For as long as it takes the players to "gather" after jumping on 2K, rather than quick jumps, then they absolutely should be able to.

What I'd like to see revamped is the fouling system. I would LOVE to be able to have realistic free-throw shooting in the games.

gotta disagree, I'm talking about "high jump", you need a recovery time no matter how good and endurant you are.
for ex;
During slamdunk contest, guys miss their best dunk and try another trick less complicated
because they can't provide the same effort at the second attempt.

I think because so many people were abusing the steal button, they made it so that you were punished more when attempting the steal and not get it. You would be out of defensive position sometimes by a lot. I alway wondered why they not simply toned the steal success down or called a reach more often to discourage steal button spamming.

I pride myself on defense, so i hope they don't tone stealing down too much. A steal attempt in the right situation by a great defender (with pick pocket badge) should at least sometimes actually result in a poke away of the ball. It's part of the D.

The fouls especially in the paint is one the main aspects of this game that needs to revamped. The animations that trigger in the paint is ridiculous especially for CPU players.
