But to your common line, "As was previously posted" there is plenty of evidence in this thread to show that isn't really accurate.

I don't what you want me to say. I posted the tweet from Kane and just repeated that. That's what I was getting at by saying as posted earlier. Referencing my own post not anyone else's.

Seems like they are just dropping awareness in order to artificially give kickers lower overalls.

I was kinda hoping Madden was past playing the manipulate overall game.

? What if it makes the kicking game more realistic. Who cares what the ovrs are if the game plays realistically.

Yeah I put the Kicker ratings into Madden 16 and compared to the AWR ratings in 16 to 17, lower AWR is the main factor. Power & Accuracy look to be untouched with AWR being lowered to get the lower ratings.

What's more interesting putting these into 16 is seeing how the OVR has been tweaked much for 17. If I drop a Kicker's AWR just to get to his Madden 17 OVR, the AWR is still higher in 16 than in 17. If I lower the AWR to the Madden 17 AWR, his OVR in 16 drops below the Madden 17 rating. Hopefully soon they provide us some info on how the OVR has been re-done.
