I cant speak for the devs but in my opinion, removing the modifier would be a pretty big change to the striking meta and maybe the devs are hesitant to make a change like that through patches. Especially when that change will affect how everyone (not just the people on the forums) plays the game.

I actually agree that the modifier should be removed but I also recognize that the forums represent maybe 1% of the people that own the game. I also recognize that maybe 100 (200?) people are on the forums and redditt complaining about the modifier and about 1 million people bought the game. So I would be hesitant to make a change that drastic without proper testing.

Also, assuming that EA will make significant changes to striking in UFC 3 like they did with grappling (just an assumption), I'd be hesitant to make those changes.

Just my two cents.

Re: #patchspoilers 1.07

Wikipedia definition, but it's an old definition, still means basically the same thing

"A tiger team is a group of experts assigned to investigate and/or solve technical or systemic problems. A 1964 paper defined the term as "a team of undomesticated and uninhibited technical specialists, selected for their experience, energy, and imagination, and assigned to track down relentlessly every possible source of failure in a spacecraft subsystem"

That's a pretty accurate description.

Do you think that's a good idea?

This game is incredibly well balanced.

I've seen the numbers.

The skill gap on the LEC was fantastic. No evidence of exploits at all.

You couldn't draw a better spread by hand.

There are a lot of people who don't think we should be touching anything.

No way we're re-designing the damage system at this point.
Where are these ppl who think you shouldn't touch anything? The multiplier doesn't seem too popular on this site. Maybe I'm wrong

Unfortunately I agree with you. I say unfortunately because we both know casuals like the modifier then.

I'm talking about people in charge here at EA, not forum members.

Forum members have made their opinions heard.

Its not popular on this site but this site doesnt completely represent the buying public. In fact, it represents a small percentage of the people who bought the game.

Also, people who are completely satisfied with a game dont tend to post a lot on message boards.
