You might be right, animation-wise at least. Not sure if momentum plays into it yet.

The bigger point was that the CPU didn't make the rounded routes before, so if they do now, then that will be a plus. Here's to hoping they can do more with it in the future.

Fielders already took great routes. It's one of the reasons gamers complain about the lack of doubles and triples.

It is being marketed as realistic routes. Which to me is introducing more of a human element in how they interpret a hit. The CPU always tended to play too perfect giving up on balls too early and setting up for the perfect carom etc. It sounds like there was some imperfection programmed into the mix.

We saw them talk about how the Human IK Engine helps prevent the sliding feet issue with pitchers, but does it also help with the sliding feet with batters in the box?

I don't think we will see the final build of the stadiums until they introduce PBR in the graphics stream. Any stadiums they show at this point are probably to show off other additions (dirt infields, retractable roofs etc.)
