The patch may not have caused the problem. Since EA told us not to bother with CFM until the patch dropped, there was no body of evidence for that particular mode.

In other words CFM May have been bugged all along we just didn't notice because we weren't playing it. (until the patch which then is getting the blame)

An analogy from the old High Heat baseball days, best sim baseball game for that time period, but the buggiest baseball game for that time period.

Let's say Madden sell 5 million copies, that's 10 million eyes glued to the screen vs the hundreds sets of eyes that work in QA. I'm speculating at the numbers, obviously.

Kolbe said during the access time there is more people playing and testing during that period than they are able to test the whole year.

I'll get in on it as well. I've got all my numbers saved from the Play Now games I've played for slider purposes so perhaps some data will help as well. I'll start one up tomorrow and see what I can get.

Confidence should just be taken out completely next year and disabled this year with a patch. Just seems like they arent able to balance it. If they just tweaked it to only give small boosts and not turn middle road players into All Pros it would help.

Agree man. I would be so happy if they can just disable it. But I don't think they will do that.

While I agree you should be able to toggle it on/off, I don't think the boosts it gives are all that significant. All of my players have 99 confidence but none of them have gone up more than 2 or 3 in overall. Still want to turn it off though.

It plays more than if it were one or too. I play with Rodgers who is 99 and I still overthrows wr on play now every now and then. On cfm any rating above 90 and you play like j. Montana
