There are those who make the argument that CPU guys can adjust the sliders, but my rebuttal to that is that the tuner sometimes changes things sliders can't address. So frustrating.

Agree. The problem is that with every change ea made it also change other aspects. I agree that the AC is OP. But why change the rushing and all the other aspects? Sometimes I feel the devs doesn't have control on their creation.

Maybe the turne affects only the manual catching mechanics?

Regarding the speed I think there is a bug. Sometimes my games are really slow. I quit and restart the game at it plays at normal speed again. Weird. Never seen this on madden before.

Booker, I respect what you are saying, but part of that is play calling strategy. In most cases a receiver one on one without safety help is going to win, due to height advantage. So if the CPU is not playing over the top or providing safety help, that is a play calling issue, not an overpowered mechanic.

I agree with you. The hardcore issue on here is that the AI play calling is awful and they don't consider yardage or any awareness of the situation. But that being said since EA is not going to change that any time soon. I prefer a little unrealistic % on 1on1 than being able to complete deeps passes. Sometimes I feel than I can win game by just throwing deep and the AI won't adapt at all. I'm using quick play calling. The AI tells me what play to run. So I don't abuse of these kind of behavior.

Now we are talking bud, so if we are on the same page, the tuner helped the guys who play online, as they are the ones doing all of the play calling. However, for the simulation crowd, it caused a negative impact on the game play, without changing what is the core issue. Now, that said, I see a much better game called by the CPU on All-Madden.

Swat Mechanic, play the receiver mechanic, and play the ball mechanic gives a variety of different options to play the pass as a defender. Use of each mechanic is situational, requiring thought and practice.

The deep ball was not overpowered
LMAO you said a game or two. When you see consistently 2 man under getting burnt. It takes more than a game or two. As a slider guy vs the AI you of all people should know this. Your right it wasn't OP cause you played 1 game online. Everyone else is just crying.

It is surprising that no one has mentioned how poorly these players within EAs roster are rated. This could also be a huge part of the problem.

Dan Baren's FBG rated rosters will be released in a month and a half. The ridiculous jump and spectacular catch ratings will be a distant memory.

Let's see how this bad boy plays with those rosters and what true "under the hood" fixes do with this game play.

2 man under is considered strong against the deep ball, not immune. Are you adjusting your coverage to "over the top"

Not sure what some you guys are seeing, but try some slider sets, specifically Armor & Swords slow sliders.

They are phenomenal. I am seeing bad passes very often (realistically of course) and the BS catches just are not there. I am losing 75%% of deepball/jumpball scenarios. Almost 100% double coverage balls (granted I am Colts who lack a big receiver like Calvin or Dez)

Even then, the CPU do Demeryius Thomas was not automatic at all. Last game, he was thrown to deep 4 times, 1 wide open drop, 3 all knocked down (not intercepted) by Vontae Davis, ONLY 1 was double coverage.

Maybe out of the box allows for that kind of catching all the time, but from my short time with it, the right sliders remedy all situations. This game plays WONDERFUL.
