I don't think anyone is saying Editing will lead to more sales than ProAm, the point is it's 2015 & we should have both. I understand the technical issues with coding & what not, but as I said before they should've made editing their 1st priority going into this year especially since they told us it would be back. I highly doubt by doing that it would've taken away from development time on Pro Am. Let's face it, Live 16 is still barebones compared to the competition (no allstar weekend, Euro teams, modes, etc..) so I'm finding it hard to believe that after 3 years they still don't have editing in. Editing may not lead to more sales but I guarantee you not having it in will hurt their sales.

*YOU* damn kids are the problem!!! I'm kidding. 2 days later and I'm still upset over this. My only somewhat remotely reasonable hope is that this can be remedied in a patch. But I know I'm better off not holding my breath.

Yeah the game is definitely barebones offline point agreed. I know editing is huge around here.and I know you guys weren't saying it was a bigger seller than pro am but I really feel like EA made a choice to focus on online modes rather than the offline experience based on time and resources . That's the point I was making . I really do think it would've taken development time away from Pro Am and not a case of them being lazy this time lol

This is sad. I expected so much more from ea this year. I only bought live last year cause it was $15. It'll be the same move for me this year. Ive ALWAYS supported both ea and 2k (football&basketball). I dont give a flying toilet about whose better. I grabbing an Xbox1 for Xmas so I'll cop it then.ea this is a real letdown

But when you're implementing big modes from scratch, those take a lot of resources/manpower. That doesn't leave a lot of your crew to work on this other huge task of custom editing, etc.

Myself, I'd 10:1 rather have editing than online, as it isn't my niche. Unfortunately, I'm not in the new age of creating a youtube series broadcasting my Rising Star/Myplayer or Live Run games. But there are a whole lot of people who are in to that sort of thing.

I'll reiterate, although it doesn't take the sting away from it not being there, just try the demo, experiment with the 6 included teams, and see if the gameplay is something that you can support.

It's not the same game as the past few yrs that needed a ton of editing.
why does everyone keep saying this game was built from scratch... that's so not truth. the game is still built of code of elite 11 and thus far......

I'm as hardcore into basketball as they come, and I think that's ridiculous.

I've put like 500 hours into the competition, and do you know how many hours I've spent editing rosters? Maybe 5.

Not really but you are under estimating how much ppl like to update rosters own their own. If EA keeps everything up to date then these complaints won't mean anything
