Because it is common sense. In any sort of business....especially one on a hard deadline, finite resources are available and applied to said product/goal. Those resources are more or less static. And FIFA has a laundry list of issues that should and need to be addressed. Instead resources and focus, no matter how little, were used on this feature.

The good news is EA will have metrics on whether or not this feature will be used and/or worth the effort. They will let the marketplace decide and I have no problem with that.
I'm dumbfounded by this. What resources are being diverted?

They added 12 teams. They probably did no more than a week (if that) of motion tracking. How is this any different than them adding Orlando City or NYFC to the game?

I could understand if they created a mode around it but the teams are only avaialble through play now. Also, I guarantee that all of the things you guys want improved from FIFA 15 are handled by different groups. Its not as if the Be A Pro or Franchise folks would be the same people working on adding teams.

EA was bound to know that adding women's soccer into the game was going to cause a stir up, but it's going to happen and it's not a big deal unless there were a hundred more hard core misogynistic views.
What don't you people get here. Do the words I KID have no meaning to you? Again nothing, absolutely nothing that I said is related in any way whatsoever to women, my view of them, their role in society, or their place when it comes to sports and video games. Did I make that clear enough yet? Or shall I continue? Jiminy Christmas.

Yes, your form of humor does reveal what you think of women's place in society.
like saying you're going to "Drop a bomb on a Battleship" I'm sure military personnel, especially those in the Navy may find this much more offensive than anything I've said here. Be consistent sir.[/quote]

Please, stop talking. I tried to help you.

But we don't know that, plus they just added teams its not like they gave them their own mode. All they did was add teams. Its funny because I don't remember seeing anyone complain about the legends team or the new MLS teams they added late in FIFA 15.

Seriously? That's what you got? You fished through my posting history, and the best you got was that I made a joke about playing a battleship level in the new Rory golf game?

You can't defend what you said, you had to try to find something to lower the bar.

And you still failed.

It's probably best to just drop that back and forth or take it to PMs. Don't need to get banned over a dumb argument.

It will take way too long to explain.

Again, the good news is EA will have metrics on whether to keep using resources on this feature in the future.

Thats a copout. Explain to me how adding teams takes away from gameplay improvements, franchise improvements and Be A Pro improvements when they are worked on by different teams.
