Are you suggesting that one year they just forget trying to improve the game anywhere else and instead work on scanning 800+ players?

The only thing 2k baseball had over the show was the announcers, there was a flow to them and maybe it's just me but the atmosphere was different too, felt like you were in the park, i don't know how to explain it but i just got a different feel when playing 2k baseball.

You're so right! The crowd "felt different." Everything about it was awesome! Example, all the way back in 2k5, bleacher creatures did the role call for the Yanks.

The Show has had this since maybe 2009, if not earlier.

I know what you're saying, though. There are certain nuances encapsulated more profoundly with 2K. To be honest though, I think there are more with The Show (in-stadium only).
