So my 2 cents:

I played for 2 hours today, and one game last night on the park only.

Defense is awesome. I can stay with people and can actually react to get chase down blocks if I get beat. The pass speed/lack of floaty feeling actually increases defense too. I got waaaaay more steals off passed because my player feels like he actually move as soon as I tap square. I noticed that blocking genuinely works better. No more weird animations where I block the wrong direction.

Here's the biggest thing: cheese Lockdown. I was locking up cheesy guys today, and they were going 4 for 16 from the field. As well as getting 2 close out blocks because you can actually close out and contest now.

Offense is more rewarding because you have to play decently. All around amazing patch

Yeah cheese has been cut a lot . I'm seeing guys use more strategy now

I did I full reinstall and had no problems with getting into full "patch mode" except having to listen to the 2k beats while playing the demo mode while it reinstalled.

Just got zigzagged online, so its still there to a degree. Guy zigzagged with Rose, Butler, and Heinrich and blasted me with midrange shots. Mike Wang go back to EA bro, 2K11 was okay without you!

Yep. Zigzag is alive and well. I did it for 4 straight online games both midrange and 3s with the Warriors. Dominated like before patch. Honestly, I thought it was even more effective post patch

Mike Wang WAS on the 2K11 team. It was the year he came back.


It's no coincidence one of the most favorite installments and biggest leaps in the franchise coincided with his return.
