You could just change it to Real Player%. Just saying.

thats not an option in online leagues - but yes i know 2k doesn't care about leagues. leagues were better many years ago and have only regressed. i'd take the old 2k11 or whatever it was league setup with not only a functioning league but also a website that went with it. lol of course this can be some of the strategy by 2k....they are good at taking things away then rebranding it for use in the next version as ground breaking.

Some people might just be better at timing the jump shots by looking at the player which is why they tell us to "turn off the shot meter and you'll make more shots."

However, the real problem is the actual shot animations. YOU CAN turn off the shot meter but leave on shot feedback and you'll see that it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a perfect a plus release with certain players like Korver. Going 1 for 6 with Kyle Korver when you are wide open most of the time is the problem here. If Korver was able to get perfect releases at a decent clip, it wouldn't be too bad.

In a hypothetical situation, we can play a ss/hof sim game or even a freestyle mode with both of us using the Hawks. You can turn off the shot meter and I'll keep it on. It is highly unlikely that you'll make a more significant amount of 3's with korver than me also using korver. HOWEVER, It is highly likely that both of us will brick his a lot of his open jump shots which is the problem here because if you can't get a single perfect release on ss/hof, you'll shoot a good amount of bricks.
Only in the 2k world are Thabo, and Bazemore better shooters than korver. It kills the realism of the game, and makes you realize that the ratings and badges are irrelevant alot of the times. Shooting and fouling are core elements of basketball, you got to get those right.

What difficulty are you guys playing on? On All Star, I get Korver's green light easy, but on Hall of Fame it's hard as heck, couldn't get it.

Weird? you can hit fall away shot but can't hit wide open set shot on HOF.

With a broken ankle I got time to spare, played 5 straight games on HOF sims.
What I notice that higher the levels the harder to make the dam!! shot.
You have to master your shot or a perfect timing?

One last thing all the miss shot's on HOF is link to the simulation slider's? put in on default go practice or play a game and see for yourself.

Pro & all-star more green light's.
Sstar & HOF less green light's.
With Kyle Kover on Ssuper default sliders made 1 green light midrange shot.
On HOF default no greens but made some nice set shots.
I got to much spare time.
