Yeah, but I mean, I'd rather not be able to steal not because of being called for fouls, but because the ball handler was smart enough to avoid it (or even pass me by if I'm too aggressive on the steals). Fouls shouldn't be the game's only defensive tactics.

Looking forward to watching your next video.

I'll actually probably go with live 16' next year. i've been with 2k since 2k5 or 6. Before that really just played ea's march maddness. But I'm just tired of a less than average online experience with 2k, ea may be terrible at A.I. and I'm sure there is going to be quite a few online exploits, but at least the game will be responsive controller wise.

I dont mind 2k offline, they do momentum well and obviously much better at EA at a few things, but even offline the pacing is just a bit slow, not crazy about the dribble controls-liked 2k12s best, hate the dead time they still freaking have from occassional inbound plays taking 5 seconds just to hand the ball to the player, that just too realistic. Faster pace would at least bring it closer to to nba scoring without having to play over 8min qts. I'm tired of seeing these same things over and over. And one of the thing I use to love, great sound tracks have become terrible. Maybe three songs I like alot and the rest hurt my ears.

Would like to give live a shot, probably will rent it this year and hope for progress to want to buy it next year.

You basically just said you don't like simulation bball!!! Its all good though.live will have to go that route on day if they hope to compete for bball genre dominance

This!!!!!

In no way am I'm bashing live, but I want them to do better. I also want customers and fans to demand better. People are justifying 15's lack of realism on court .. is it fun??? it can be but it isnt like other titles arent or havent been for years now LIVE didnt RESURRECT the fun in games...some folk are overly reaching with these buzz terms lol...."Well live isnt a simulation sport so blah blah"....Mannn cmon now we all know live is supposed to be Sim..heck it pretty much created the word SIM in sports titles..This isnt advertised as NBA Live Jam 15...Folks are so bent on something "different" they are giving them a pass on things that if was happening in other sports titles would get massacred.

The bells and whistles are excellent......

Presentation is good, but its supposed to be WITH THE ESPN LICENSE...no kudos from me...they have had the resources in their lap for years....

Yes I'm going to say it again the clipping ............and the reason it might seem i'm going overboard with this issue is because it makes me question the RTP mojo....

If there is a lack of body detection how can RTP even be considered????
If the CPU swipes for the ball and his hand cuts through my player's body like a hot knife through butter and steals the ball CONSTANTLY wheres the RTP???

IJS HHG as crazy as this sounds was correct right about this issue...I wouldnt even consider it a bug...We all grew up playing LIVE(since live 95)...I just think as fans we deserve more especially with the power of the systems we have now....I want live to be better it just pisses me off that it shows promise then drops the ball.....that pic above and numerous others i've posted are examples ...it kills the gameplay in a MAJOR way and I want them to fix it...

Heck this same game Andre Drummond went for a loose ball, the animation to pick the ball up triggered, but he came up without the ball and proceeded to dribble as if he had the ball in his hands cmon now!!!!!

Re: NBA Live 15 Staff Impressions Ahead of Release Day

Clipping and sliding are in every sports game. I just ask that they be limited to visual issues and not things that allow for the impossible like getting the ball through someone's body.

Live 14 had a major issue with this. I still saw some occurrences in my time with live 15 but it sounds like they are still updating and adding animations so hopefully it can get to the point where it is just an eyesore and not the difference in a possession.

this confuses me to no end. why do you want the game to get nba scoring in 5 minute quarters? do we not want a sim at all?

.
Exactly the over abundance is my issue NO game is perfect...but when the a.i. determines that its going to steal the ball at all costs and pulls a "indiana jones temple of doom" on me and takes the ball by sticking his hand through my chest...

Spoiler

we have issues..
..especially if it happens repeatedly in the course of one game.....

Seriously though...it happens too MUCH...after every play I just check instant replay and there are issues everywhere...in real time it looks great in some cases but go manually check instant replay its like wdf...its like the game is cutting corners to try to look fluid in realtime....that might be why no 5 on 5 footage was shown because slowed down its baaaaaaaaaaaad...I just played nets vs cavs POST PATCH and manually instant replayed after every bucket in the 1st minute of the 1st quarter ....this is what was recorded...(over 5 clippings in that short span)
