When you load up the game steam updates before it starts. Patches are faster because steak didn't have the same restrictions as MS and Sony

Hm, but those settings aren't maxed out, are they ?
The LOD settings are medium and shaders are set to low.

But your MSAA is set quite high. This is usually a performance drain and on this high resolution, you could reduce it maybe and increase other settings instead.

This is ridiculous 2K. I'm not sure how to react to all this attention to us PC gamers from a sports game maker, it's like a stray dog being patted for the first time.

Haven't played with the 2nd patch yet, but the 1st patch made things even smoother. Except I still get some audio glitching and slowdowns from time to time, more so in MyCareer I think. I am using crappy onboard Realtek audio though.

I never thought I'd say this about 2K (regardless of platform, but especially PC), but the post release support has been top notch thus far. The quick turn around on stability issues is incredibly encouraging and much appreciated!

I am surprised with the attention to PC this year. Its a far cry from past years. Thank you for this.

Any chance the overlays during game are fixed, the ones when the commentating team bring up records, stats, etc.

There is a big patch coming in the future for all platforms.
