1. Player movement option is silly.
2. If it's in there, why the world isn't it on by default??

It's been said enough already and please
da throne let the sliders thing go man. You've been on here for 2 days straight with that and I honestly don't care to see anymore dissertations on it. Like I said before just agree to disagree and move on.
Why is it the person with the differing opinion has to be the one who has "been on here for 2 days straight with that" as if I was discussing the topic by myself?

My point is if options are good for the game why is this bad. You guys lecture me on how people should have the option to play how they want to(which I never disagreed with) and than bash this because nobody should want to play this way. Which is it?

Can someone answer these two questions..

1. Why did George Hill dribbling with his right hand past Westbrook when Westbrook is on his right side?
2. How many steps did Hill take in that paint? 4-6?

Don't know about number 2 but I suspect the game doesn't take into consideration of the position of the defender in relation to which hand the ball handler would likely use to get past him. For what it's worth I've never seen any game deal with this sort of thing well.

Also of note is that this is all user controlled

Man there's a very significant difference between wanting sliders to be able to tweak a more realistic or not approach to scoring, rebounding, fouls being called, traveling violations, etc. and having the option of turning on and off whether your teammates just stand around like statues if you aren't calling your own plays.

Thats a simplistic view. Re: Sliders, You have been presented with several reasons why people prefer sliders as an option.

Regarding off ball movement, OBM is a fundamental part of basketball. NBA teams dont stand around and stay in one place so you shouldnt need an option to make them do something that they should do. Thats like having an option for stealing or rebounding.

You are just arguing for the sake of arguing at this point. It takes a second of analysis to realize these are two different situations.
