Kevin Durant Rated 95 in NBA 2K15, 3 Other Players Rated Above 90, Who Deserves It?

Damn, if (1)KD is 95... This years ratings are going to be interesting
I'll say without a doubt (2)Lebron James is one of them.
(3)Melo should be another one. He's literally top 3 in the league.
(4)Blake Griffin, duh.. Guy was in MVP chase most of the year and really improved from an already beastly all around 4 man.

Close but no cigar:
For any of you who mentioned Kobe, keep dreaming. He's an 85 and that's being generous. He's going to have to prove himself if he wants a rating boost.
Westbrook's lack of offensive IQ would drop him just below 90, probably 88 or 89. He's a prolific scorer, but he plays dumb at times, a lot of times.
Kevin Love is probably 88, while Irving is probably the same.
Paul George is missing the entire season, putting him in the exclusive 90s club would be a waste.
Derrick Rose hasn't played in the nba in forever, he better not be rated 90..

Honorable mentions:
1: Steph curry is a qualifier though.. His shooting attributes (close mid and long range) should be in the mid to high 90s. Same for free throws, passing, dribbling, offensive iq, quickness, layup, pick n roll, fast break and whatever else I'm forgetting. With all those attributes rated 90+ he's got to round out to 90.
2: Cp3, he's possibly the best PG in the league right now.
3: Dwight Howard, he's a force to be reckoned with. Most dominating center in the nba right now.

Lol Shaq. Anyway...why is KD then 95? Then only LBJ and Dirk should be 90+ rated players. Because two of the are the only one who did it by himself in the last 10-ish years. Shaq had Kobe, Timmy had Spurs, Tony had Timmy, Kawhi had Timmy/Tony, Detroit were...Detroit, Celtics were big4, Kobe had Pau/Odom. Wrong logic.

You place too much value into inefficient shot locations, which is pretty much most of Carmelo's offensive repertoire. The best shooter in the world will make anywhere between 44-50% of his shot attempts from the perimeter, which implies that medium-range shots are less efficient than a dunk or a three pointer.

Carmelo Anthony's effective and true shooting percentages are slightly above league averages, which indicate he's capable of scoring a lot of points, but he'll need a lot of shots as well. I believe VC would be wise enough to take that into consideration, along with his sub-par defensive skills.

He's an 85-89 in my book, if the new rating system will be this strict. There's just more efficient players on both sides of the floor out there.

You'd think it would have to be guys that are solid on defense as well, although I'm not 100% sure how individual attributes are weighted in regards to the overall grade. I'd guess LeBron, Chris Paul, and either Paul George or Anthony Davis. It would seem like Curry and Kevin Love would be rated really high, but they are 2 of the worst defenders in the NBA, as is James Harden. I could see Westbrook being really close to a 90 as well, and hopefully they haven't docked Rose too many rating points, considering he was the best PG in the world 2 years ago.

He is more effecient than PG way more actually and right there wit cp3. Melo unlike bron and KD doesn't CARE about fg percentages. KD and bron are both obsessed with their fg percentage. Even KD said he doesn't shoot buzzer beaters sometimes for it lol. At the end of the day he is a top two scorer and much improved on defense. Also had 8 boards a game. More than a lottttttt of power forwards. Not Tryna change your opinion cause your entitled to it but the guy is a top 5 player in the league. KD and Melos offense eclipse their defense by a lot which makes it easy to knock them on that. Both aren't great but to say KD is a 95 and melo is anything below 92 to me is wayyy to far away because KD is better but not THAT much better. Ppl thought melo played defense last year because they saw him jumping in crowds and such things when in fact he played much better defense this year. Just check the numbers.
