LMAO!!! I just remembered why I stay away from the impressions thread after the game is released!! I love the game myself, but if I read this thread long enough I'm afraid it would kill the game for me. I also try to stay away from the bugs & glitches thread, so that unless I find the bug myself I'm not looking for any of them. ENJOY THE GAME!!!

Yeah, I'm having the same problem as you and it's driving me nuts. I play 15 minute quarters as well and it's inflating my stats like crazy, making me want to just start my CC over.

Re: Madden NFL 15 Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here (XB1/PS4)

Im definitely having fun with M15 so far. The visuals are finally getting there on par with the "other" basketball game. I really was expecting a lot more with living worlds this year, but seeing as there was no hype leading to release I knew there wasn't going to be any significant improvements.

The audio while sounding the same(same sounds) sounds much better, if that makes sense. The NFL films camera shots are beautiful at times.

Im really having fun with the defensive camera, and the camera switching on-the-fly keeps gameplay from getting stale. This is an underrated feature. We still need to be able to customize camera angles though.

Ive seen some improvements in tackling but at the same time, far to often when players collide they pinball off each other 3-4 yards away, that's too far. It needs to be tightened up.

By far M15 isn't a perfect game. It is the best game of football ive played in YEARS though, its getting there. There NEEDS to be more penalties added to the game (defensive holding) as well as the ones we do have need to work properly. So far for M15, penalties are non existent.

The intelligence of the CPU QB's also needs to be higher while at the same time the accuracy of there throws is still too high. I do feel a diffence between top notch QB's and scrubs but even the elite passers aren't as accurate as M15 makes them out to be. There is also a nice contrast of ability with different RBs. A power guy FEELS like a power back. A shifty RB definitely FEELS way different than a guy like Stephen Jackson or LeGarret Blount, which is nice. EA needs to keep running with that and give each player signature moves and traits.

The game definitely still has its issues but you can see there is some polish to some areas, now its time to build build build on this base. NO MORE subtraction of features, its time to add and then add some more. Like someone above said the "player of the game" interview is gone this year for some reason. WHY? This is something that EA has to stop doing yesterday. Stop removing features that don't need to be removed. This has been a huge part of their frustrated fan base for quite some time, the CONSTANT removal of things for seemingly no reason at all. Its the classic 1 step forward 2 steps back. Like Ditka says "STOP IT!!"

So far ill give M15 an 8 out of 10, its getting there just not as fast as all of us would like.

Hey guys,

for those of you on the fence of which system to get this game for, don't worry about it... I've played both versions and own both systems.

I can honesty say that this game has put the xb1 back on par with ps4 in terms of graphics. I didn't notice much of a difference either of these titles. I played on both of my TV sets and even with my beefier TV , i still didn't notice much of a difference at all.

now that cant be said about every other game out that's multi-plat . Which has looked far superior to the xb1 counter parts when compared to the ps4.

Those who say they notice a difference verisons of madden's must have a 4k television or great pair of eyes.. maybe a few more jaggies on the xb1 version but both look incredible..

i think the feel is better on the xbox 1 controller too, but that's just me, i like how responsive it is..

Re: Madden NFL 15 Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here (XB1/PS4)

Is stumble recovery still in the game ? Because I am getting tripped a lot and can't recover from it. And I must say pursuit is over powered in this game. I tried 5 screen plays with the Saints, got sacked 5 times because the pursuit of the defensive linemen were just insane on how fast they caught up to Drew Brees back peddling. Counter plays again once again lead to tackles for a loss.

EA needs to tone down pursuit. Makes no sense on any outside run you get met in the backfield majority of the time. Also makes no sense how a WR can catch a wide open pass and you go to turn up field and a defender comes from the far side of the field and chase you down within 5 yards.

Think I will lower the tackle slider because out of all the games I played, I look at stats and have 0 broken tackles. IMO EA made conservative tackle and hard hit tackle too even. Don't seem to matter which one you use, it is an automatic tackle. I shouldn't be seeing big backs brought down with 1 hit all the damn time. I shouldn't be seeing shifty backs brought down with ease either.

29 rushes with Ingram for 95 yards against the Bengals ?

So far I played against Charles, AP, Forte, Lacy, etc. and NONE of them have rushed for over 100 yards against me. I will lower the tackle slider to see if I can get some broken tackles and get this CPU running game going. Because as it stands now, the CPU can't run the ball to save their lives.

Suction seems to be back, O lineman are missing blocks, and backs aren't responding to cut back lanes....PS3
