It's roughly the same - for most of the 3 hours we played it was consistently 10+ seconds between the actual shot and the action on scree taking place -

With no EASHL for NHL15, I think I will take that money and do the same. I think these devs deserve it more than EA by giving us a simulation/customizable game like this. Since the game is basically just pick up and play with no levels, attributes etc, it should be easy to go back and forth and play with friends on both consoles.

A few more impressions from last night ...

I now know how Tiger Woods felt when he hit the flag stick on the fly during the 2013 Masters because the same thing happened to me. It was one of the coolest things I've ever experienced in a golf video game, even though it cost me two shots. The ball hit the flag stick and ricocheted right back off the green and into a bunker and I couldn't get up and down.

Checked out some user-created courses and some of them are just pure evil. I'm all for a good challenge, but these were borderline masochistic.

Unless I'm missing something, you need to have an internet connection to play tours and tournaments. I would have thought these modes would be available offline, too, but it doesn't appear so. I did play a round on a course that had a couple of scores already registered, and it was neat to see their round play out alongside my own. It was like being in a multiplayer match without having live people on the course at the same time.

All in all, I'm still really liking the game and think it has great potential. With an active group of players and some nice courses, this could be special.

No - it's not. After a awhile it started to become a bit of a grind, and I can't imagine what it would be like with 4 players.

Wow, I would say that would become annoying fast. It's a shame if they can't improve on that because I'm really liking how the game plays and I imagined it would be that much more fun with additional players. But from what you've experienced, maybe that's not the case.

It was still fun, but when you start to add all the delays up, it's quite the time consumer-
