This is such a great move.

Im sure it took a lot of guts for 2K to admit there was an error in game design and reverse the trend.

I was worried there for a moment that 2k had lost what I loved most about their games.....


All them glorious options and sliders......yes I'm a nut about that stuff and love my customization abilities in my sports games.

There should be a "trade demand" slider as well as logic built for it.

For example, if a team has an overall 85-90 player and he is two years away from being an unrestricted player, he should have a sit down with your front office in the off season and then you should have a goal of "make the playoffs" "improve record by X" "advance to X round of the playoffs" etc.

If you fail to meet that goal, the player will demand a trade before the start of the next season and then you have do decide to either go "all in" and try to acquire talent to meet whatever goal the player wanted, or you can trade the player now for maximum value, or stick with the same roster and hope you improve during the year.

If you wait until the deadline, you hear rumors of where he wants to go, and teams don't offer as much as they would have previously.

When the offseason comes, you get a 25% chance of convincing that player of not options out for a year or something. Etc

So will teams with extra draft picks be implemented into this mode?
Like when teams trade their picks?

Ex: Knicks don't have a guaranteed first round AND second pick in the same draft until 2018.

Or

The Lakers will have the Rockets first round pick for the next draft because of the Lin trade.

Also, players should have more "factors"
Like:

Money
Market size
Talent level (ex how many players on the team trying to sign him are overall 80 and above. What is the teams average bench rating)
Must be the face of the franchise (superstar role) - yes/no
